I love Medieval and Late Victorian/Edwardian era fashions most

I've always loved late Victorian. Edwardian is something I've never considered before but the more I'm seeing the more I'm definitely enjoying it. I still don't know if it's something I want to try for myself yet.

I love watching you sew... My favorite historical era will always be Tudors/Elizabethian. My all-time favorite vintage is the late 50's through the 60's. Keep up the amazing videos and you don't ramble. Love ya!

Thank you! My favorite is the Tudors also. It always will have a soft spot in my heart. One of these days I'll get around to recreating the dress from Anne Boleyn's portrait. Love you!!

This is so pretty! I am inspired to add more beading to my costumes! I really love Italian Renaissance gowns, and the late 18th century fashions.

Thank you! I hope you do, beading is such an easy way to really make a costume pop! I too love the Italian Renaissance!! I've got some 18th century in my plans this year as well!

Thank you so much for this, I have been wanting to do this to my veils. My persona is 12th century English/Irish.

That's very lovely, Kacy. I like Edwardian, Regency, and Medieval eras best. I think I may need to start beading now!

Wonderful! I'm planning some Regency projects this year! I was hoping to make the Jane Austen Fest in Louisville, KY this Summer, but it's a wait and see now.

Hi. I came to see you unwrap your pocket and found that I wanted to see this video on beading the linen veil. It's very pretty. How do you keep the veil on your head?

What are the dimensions of your half circle veil? It looks like the ideal size to go for

What needle do you use for beading like this? I've been using a Dritz (I think?) embroidery needle found in the Joanns Embroidery section, but they're so light and fragile I've bent more than I'd like to admit.
My favorite historical costuming comes from Medieval France, (My FAVORITE) Tudor England, and I'm starting to dabble in late Victorian/Early Edwardian attire.

I don't know how I missed this comment, I'm so sorry! I'm honestly not sure what type of needle I used. I feel like it was just a generic split beading needle. The ones with the really long split down the center that you can thread... if that makes any sense. Luckily I was using a really thin linen here and it worked well. I don't think I'd try that with a heavier fabric. I can say that they bend really easy. If you ever come up with a better solution, feel free to pass it on. :) Tudor England is by far my favorite as well! I'm also starting to dabble in late Victorian. Look for more on that coming up on my channel!
