After 6 months of use, no issues with the chin mount. Still holding strong!

Its amazing, chinmounts cost about 5 cents to make and they sell for 30$ 🤣
Id say the hassle of trying to design a mount that forms to your helmet, then 3D print it is worth the $30

Hey, I’m a mountain biker thinking of buying one of these. Are you able to attach the GoPro differently so that it is completely out of view e.g putting it upside down. I don’t want it in my field of view for obvious reasons. Thanks
You can mount it upside down as well.

You can use the GoPro attachments. You’ll likely need the low profile one though.

Was the minimalistic mount included with the Chinmounts?
Only if you buy the GoPro mount kit. Otherwise, you just get the chin mount.
The minimalistic mount is the low profile mount?
The helmet cameras are now old and we as viewers only see dirt ahead. We want to see the rider ride and race so it’s best to get someone to video the rider as he rides. Thats the best view. It’s 2024 so that should have invented a way to have a drone follow the bike at 10’, 15’,20’ and 25’ away and something attached to the rider so the drone knows to follow the bike and video tape the rider.
They do and that's old, could of just Saif get a 360 so you see it all 😅

No complaints. Yes, it’s 3D printed but they are made for your specific helmet. Still holding up strong.

I personally don't trust, a sticker to hold my camera. Especially in 80mph winds or more
I dont know why people would purchase this. The mount will 100% fall off. Especially if you're like me and you'll be using it everyday through all weathers.

ChinMounts are 3D printed junk. I was floored when it arrived and found out it was 3D printed.
yup! i need a mount so i can make videos but i ordered the chin mount and the thing points straight down, i tried the mount on top of my helmet but my visor blocks it
What did you end up going with, or has the ChinMount proven alright? My thought is that if you go down, you want the camera to break off instead of grinding on the floor lol, but idk. It is quite pricey for what it is, though.
@@madmanmurph youre probably just dumb and have your go pro on wrong, you need to use it upside down and flip the go pro screen
It's pointing down you need a j hook or chin mount low profile buckle with either you can adjust the camera to your liking
I got a chin mount on a recommendation, and I got it, and it felt and looked cheap. Like you said 3D printed and I hated it. So I looked at other companies and ended up buying a Ride Tech mount. It looked and felt so much better and stronger. It's injection molded polycarbonate and I couldn't be happier with it. 14 thousand miles and it's still solid as a rock on the chin of my helmet. And it was cheaper than chin mount and came with a full kit, arm, clip, tether, everything I needed.
Es ist nicht am besten Camera Mount auf dem Markt Ich hab ein Chin Mount aus USA Bestellt und es war katastrophale! GoMoto ist der best es ist katastrophal aber GoMot ist Aus Aluminium
Its a complete garbage product, overpriced and low quality. I bought one and it came with loose 3M tape and didnt even fit my helmet, fell off as it pressed against the helmets vent
