I built my system with the H6 Flow and I love it. My brother's been gaming with laptops for over 15 years and now decided he wants a desktop. I'm basically gonna be building him an identical system as mine, but with an H5 Flow. I really like how the H5 Flow is a little bit more conservative. I was also looking at the 2024 version, but I'm just not too fond of it.
@@princekittipon6510 Depends when the cooler was produced. This one came with it, but you can buy them on amazon or you can go to the manufacturer and ask if they can send you one. If you live by a micro center they carry them for the kraken coolers.

What are the idle temps on this build, I have these exact parts and I'm doing a case swap. I'm stuck between the H5 flow and the Corsair 4000D, Just asking as it would let me know exactly how hot its going to run at idle.
@@vulcan4705 I believe you mount it onto the removable bracket. Then reinstall the bracket with the drive mounted on it. Not 100% since I used a m.2 drive. You can look at the manual

I just bought this case and I had 2 HDDs and when I found out there’s only technically place in this case for 1 HDD I screwed the other to the top of the case and it actually makes it look clean and my PC doesn’t overheat 😂
wasnt the cooling system a bit overshoot for 1.4k build? in my country kraken costs about 150 euros, definetly could have found something cheaper without compromising the quality of cooling.
You wiped off the CPU cooler and then touched it with your fingers and then applied past in a very strange way. I dollop in the middle has proven to be most effective
What is proven is the difference is marginal between a couple degrees at best. What's important is full coverage of the IHS which a dollop in the middle doesn't always accomplish, even more so now with these longer cpus from intel. Also, I put the plastic cover over the cold plate before touching it as you can see in the video.

Nice build man. I'm going to be upgrading my CPU from 10400f to a 7800x3d in a few days. I picked up an AIO for the 7800x3d and I see a lot of H5 Flow builds mounting the AIOs at the top of the case rather than the front. Is there any reason for that, And if there is should I mount mine on the top instead of the front?
Hi thank you. You can only mount up to a 240 on top and up to a 280 in front. When you mount in the front you reserve cooler air for the cpu and less for the GPU. On top is more balance and longer lifespan depending on the location of the pump
Yes, BUT I did not use one here. Since I used the NZXT Kraken, though not the rgb version..I was able to plug the two front fans into the rbg connector from the aio.

@@Tx_Jay_ Yeah sorry man. NZXT kinda jips you on that. Keep in mind you may need the fan/led controller as well if you do go with the rgb fans. In my case, I did not need it since I used the nzxt x53 aio and I daisy chained the fans and plugged it into the aio. Just another heads up. Good luck with your build!

I bought this case and i was wondering what the best place for the aio radiator is. i guess the front right ? it has a 3rd fan blowing fresh air towards the gpu.
Can't say what's the best but keep in mind the top can only fit up to a 240 rad. The front intake can fit up to a 280. So if you go with the front you can go with the bigger aio.
Great job you did there! It looks so beautiful. I just have an Acer Nitro PC, with useless stuff in there. OK it have an 3060 in it but the RAM-Kits are absolutely useless, cause they are on 40% when i'm doing really NOTHING while the PC is turned on. (just in case if someone is answering to my comment: I know a lot about PCs and I know what i have to do when I have this problem but it doesn't help. I tryed anything to fix it but it just make the situation more complicate (ACER-Support also don't know what to do then)

Like 80$/€90 bought it myself but think its the best if you get some extra fans for the front of the PC. I am personally not going to because I am low on money but that is a bit of a risk.

Idle CPU temp is 22°. Either case will be fine for these parts

What's the reason behind the 12600k rather than something more recent?
This was built last year and the reason was simply the price. The person this PC was for is gaming at 1440p as well, so this was all that was needed.

Yes it will. You might have a clearance issue if you run the AIO on the front intake
