I also have a question. I don't understand why a lot of pros go on altitude-camps now just after the offseason. Wont the effect of the camp be discarded when you go back home and live at "normal altitude"?
Going to altitude is definitely more popular in the pre-season for getting into a good shape for races. However, this time of the year, I want to make a great fundament for the coming winter of training. Hopefully I will raise my base level of training with this camp. If I am able to train at a higher power troughout the whole winter, I should in theory be stronger when the season comes. The experience from this altitude camp is also very valuable!

Andorra seems nice! However, we chose Sierra Nevada because one of our guys here is really familiar in this area. Will maybe go to Andorra another time!
It really depends on what you need. If you are staying at the center, the use of the facilities is included in the price. For us, who are living outside of the center, the price for using the strength training equipment and wattbikes, treadmills ++ is around 16 euros a day. If you need to use the swimming pool, running track, or other facilities as well, it would be more expensive.
