- 💜💋Selena Quintanilla Perez, the Queen of Tejano Music, holds a special place in the story of Corpus Christi! The Selena Museum was built by the Quintanilla family to celebrate the life and achievements of their beloved daughter for Selena fans. The Selena Museum admission includes a tour of Selena's stage costumes, collections and memorabilia including her red Porsche, GRAMMY award and so much more. Guests may even catch a glimpse of Selena's family because Q Productions is still a working studio and office! @Jetsettingwiththebryants
When i moved to the suburbs in san antonio(predominatly white) i was so shocked to see how many caucasians LOVEDDDD Selena. Same with black people. She was bringing us all together back then and still to this day.
Caucasians ≠ white
We are all people. Get over it.
i feel Like Selena was The Aaliyah for and of Latinos, Im blk myself and as a little girl my dad being from Texas, would play her music and, I grew to love her, still do to this day and im 34.
Aaliyah was my other favorite.

Was a huge heartbreak moment when you were taken from everyone so young and too soon… One day I’ll get to see the memories being held out there… Ain’t nothin wrong with how this museum looks, we’re old school, we want the nostalgia and the beauty of Selena, no one is going to pay attention to how the building looks!!! Only these new generations and privileged spoiled ones being prissy about a building… It’s about Selena, respect her, her family and the era…

RIP Selena, thank you for sharing. I was able to visit the Museum many years ago its really nice. We were able to see the Family home and her Burial location while there in Corpus Christi.
I Loved selenas music she was a very beautiful person and so loved by everyone, her life was cut of way to short , all because of this crazy fan her who was so process by her , her father should of pertected her and kept her safe more and check Yolanda back ground before he hired her to keep her safe !
She was so young only 23 and her and Chris had so many dreams and dreams of haven a family and having a farm and that was all taken away so sad my heart breaks for her family and specialy for Chris she really loved that man ! ❤

I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to go with my health I have lots of family in Texas spread out my grandpa was born San Antonio it’s funny how Abraham looks like my dad side of the family no joke if you all saw pictures of my family you would be shocked. I wish I could go out to Texas but my body probably wouldn’t be able to handle the long drive from Utah especially since I have a fear of flying never flown in my life. The museum admission at the time was $5.00. Estimated time about an hour. But you can stay as long as you want!
