I have moved every year 😕 I hope I stay put for awhile! The best thing about it is that you can clean out what you don't need. I would love a video from you explaining your centers, especially the writing center! Or direct me to a video if you've made one! 😊 Also, where did you get the trays? Those would be great for playdough!

I have a newline! Our district mounted ours on the wall. It’s great! I use it to take notes now instead of the whiteboard.

I teach middle school and have a Newline Board. IT IS AMAZING! Mine is attached to the wall. We have special cleaner to deal with those fingerprints.

I had a newline my first year and I LOVED the storage underneath!
Great place to keep current read alouds or other teacher materials / supplies.
I now have a Promethean now. It’s just as bulky, without the storage underneath. :/
Either way, I love having an interactive board. I teach from slides and it makes them easy to use.

I'm loving the Newline Flat Panel more every year. It's a learning curve for sure.

Have a nice school year! It's such a nice feeling knowing your classroom is ready and you can simply rearrange the troublesome areas or add to the decorations right before the beginning of the school year! Much less stressful! And a great way to gradually warm up to your normal pace!
Tip: try adding a little honey in your coffee instead of sugar. It's as sweet as sugar but it boosts the aroma of coffee rather than cover it up!

I would think that tbw school would want certain tanles and chairs. I love how you set it up last year. Cant wait to see the full outcome this year. ❤

I love your little calm down area with the poster that say "How do you feel?" What are the cards hanging below it? I'm currently in the process of creating a calm down corner for my classroom this year!

My IFP (it's not technically a SmartBoard because of branding) was installed in June, so I got to test it out for a month.i kind of wish it was on wheels because then I could choose it's location. I lost a large section of whiteboard, but it does take up less space than the screen we used previously. I've also retired my document camera because I can display on the IFP from my computer instead. My easel has been tucked away as well and only comes out when I have a big book to read.
Yes, the fingerprints drive me crazy. Get yourself a spray bottle of alcohol for cleaning.

I love my smart board but it does take getting used to! What size did you get for the headphones? My bags are too big! 😅

  • @lovelylids4431

As a huge eye sore that giant stand might be, I'd rather keep It movable to where as removing that piece of whiteboard. I think if I'd ever decided to rearrange my classroom and change my main teaching area, I could totally have the choice to do that by just rolling it elsewhere in the classroom. I hate when we don't have whiteboards (magnetic stuff is such a helpful thing). We have NewLine but apparently outdated versions of it, and they do tend to suck sometimes bcuz of that. Good luck!

Is your teacher chair a comfortable height at your kidney table? What is the lowest height that the seat can go down to. I've looked at that chair online, but can't find the minimum height. I need to make sure it will work with my reading group table. Thanks!

    Hi Mayleen,
I’ve tried contacting you through Etsy, but haven’t gotten a response. I bought your planner, but have not been able to get it to work with Goodnotes. My techie hubby says it must be the planner file that’s corrupted, as it doesn’t load across my phone, iPad and laptop. I bought it in August a year ago. I can download again from Etsy. Can you help?
