Si Ken, walang pagkashowbiz. Sometimes, he throws himself under the bus with his truth. He can be humble but refuses fake humility. He does not tell you things are difficult when things come easy to him (like in starting a song). It can come accross as arrogant but in reality, medyo mababa lang yong social quotient ni Ken, especially when it relates to Filipino culture. To me, this type of person is refreshing. What you see is what you get. Sometimes kalog, minsan clueless, maraming awkward moments. Minsan yong efforts nya maging social napapalpak pero, ubod din naman ng talent at charisma. You don’t have to be a sheep Ken, just continue to do you.

I played sepak takraw against ken during our highschool days in Lakewood (Zonal Meet). His spikes killed us. No doubt his moves also brought him to where he was now.

The more anyone hates KEN the more he/she will love him in the long run.
I think Ken is in fact very confident, despite being sometimes self-effacing in front of cameras. Perhaps he is quiet because he is just being prudent, a matter of self preservation which I think is wise. But he is very confident with his talent, that is for sure. Also, he is intelligent - no one becomes CEO or a successful entrepreneur if one isn't equipped with good intelligence. Remember that unlike the other boys Ken is quite physically apart from his parents and other kin, although it doesn't mean that there is no close attachement. In fact, I can feel that he is keenly family-oriented. And yes, he carries his faith deeply, and that's what keeps him strong, I think. I also have the feeling that Ken is very discerning of the people around him. God-loving, intelligent, kind, talented, sincere, alluring and more - that's Ken to me.
He is all that and more but my favorite of all is his being ALWAYS self-effacing. I'm pretty sure he knows he is the most popular but he'd rather give the limelight to others because he's uncomfortable and I think he will always be uncomfortable with the attention people are giving him, especially because there are five of them in the group. In airports, he usually just acknowledges the fans with a wave and a nod while others mingle with them. Him always using a mask to cover his face gives me the vibe that he's uncomfortable whenever people scream or talk about how handsome he is. I remember, years ago, in one interview, they were asked who is the most popular with girls, he was quick to point that it's Josh and Stell (If I remember it correctly), adding that he's not much into social media. His sincerity gives him the discernment to recognize the kind of people around him, that is why he can sometimes be funny and so relax around people or clams up and only talk whenever he is ask to.

When I started become an A'tin, I memorizes their names first. Watched their vlogs, interviews, dance practice, old videos and so on. Then I saw many comments about him (Ken) who is he?? I am a capricorn same with Ken kaya lahat ng capricorn makakarelate sa kanya. We become silent when people around us become annoying. We isolate rather than stay in a crowd. We become socially anxious esp with bigger crowd and public places 'cause we have the tendency to either overreact with one's gestures when we find them annoying based on our judgment or avoid these places because we are afraid to be misconstrued. Blending in with random people is our weakest point. We are not introvert but we tend to be picky at times and only speak to people whom we feel comftable to work/speak with. Yung magaan ang vibe at d naninipsip ng enerhiya! 😊 We are not maarte but selective kami sa mga friends because we always gets betrayed but we are loyal and the kindest creatures to genuine people with good intentions.
