I'm imaging it's late in the 4th quarter of the Super Bowl and the other team is driving for the winning touchdown. It's a long pass which looks like a touchdown when all of a sudden, Micah comes out of nowhere and intercepts to seal the victory. (It's happened before you know)
I hope Micah and his family REMAIN in Buffalo even after his playing days are completely done. Perhaps as DB coach to start or special defensive assistant coach ???
No questions about his announcement that he’s retiring after this year BUT sticking around? Biggest thing he said upon his return is still being blown off.
First let me say that I have wanted Micah Hyde to come back for months, AND I am vert thankful and glad that he is with the Bills for one final quest for the Super Bowl. I always thought that he might join the team at the trade deadline as a player-coach and bide his time getting into playing shape and being ready come playoff season. I want him -- all of Buffalo -- to get a ring ... FINALLY. That said, the more that gets discussed about "how" his return materialized, the stranger the vibe is that I get. 1. The original story -- and it remained as "the story" all along -- was that Micah didn't want to play right away this season, IF at all. He didn't want a new contract after the previous one ran its course and expired. This is why we drafted Cole Bishop. But Micah did say that IF he ever changed his mind about deciding that he wanted to play again, it would be WITH THE BILLS ONLY -- no other team -- or not at all. 2. Brandon Beane always said jow much he valued having Micah on the Bills, and that he would leave the door open IF/whenever Micah decided he wanted to play after all -- but that he would respect his decision and not bother or pester him. Yet, quite tellingly, the Buills refused to issue Hyde's #23 jersey to any other player this season. I can't imagine any stronger signal the team could have sent Micah Hyde other than constantly pestering him to come back -- which would be difficult anyway because of a tight salary cap this season. 3. We heard crickets from Micah and fromth Bills as the season progressed. 4. Finally the two sides came together and the deal got dome out of the blue. But now when you hear Micah talk (and certainly in past interviews), he makes it sound like iut was up to Beane to reach out to him and ask him to come back ... which is the OPPOSITE of what we were led to believe that Micah wanted to step away from the game, chill out, heal his body of all his stingers, and then think about what he wanted to do. Now everything is couched in terminology meant to suggest somehow that Brandon Bean "dropped the ball" or was some sort of "disinterested" GM all along until he got prodded into action by the current Bills players. So what's the true story ???????? Depending on the answer, is Brandon Beane the right guy to hold accountable for the "miscommunication" ???
I think it’s pretty clear. Micah wanted to step away for a while, but it was up to Beane to reach out if they needed help. He did, and Micah decided he wanted to come back? I don’t know what you’re yapping about
What a class act Micha Hyde is. He wants to bring a championship so bad to Buffalo. Just one great guy.
One of the greatest humans to ever put on a Bills uniform!
Let's get this ring Micah!!!
We will need you in the playoffs Micha !! Get ready !!
I love Micah!!!!!!!
We love you Micah - Bills Mafia
With Rapp & Hamlin out, I was hoping we'd see Micah gear up!
I love the honesty about struggling with ego in accepting a practice squad role.
Just say it Micah, you want that ring. Go Bills
Hes one guy I wouldn't care if he signed 1 day before the super bowl just to get a ring
@@ajchilds2163 Agreed , Also. My comment was not meant in a bad way. He is as deserving as anyone.
Hope he can play this year
He’s here to motivate and teach ! Unless there’s a injury he’s not suiting up, welcome back #23
It make sense to give him playing time in the playoffs
@@eddieillz425i agree 100 percent!!
@@eddieillz425 lol no it makes absolutely zero sense, none whatsoever.. no reason at all for him to play at any point
Excellent interview

Of Course its easy to return when the bills are doing so well! The real question is..... Would he return if they had a losing record? hmmmmmm....
