Josh Allen would rather have the Super Bowl ring than MVP. Listen to the man. His O line and Mafia know he is MVP. That's what he cares about.
He can care about both. Doesn’t have to be one or the other
Exactly what I was thinking. Without Josh, the Bills would not have as many victories and clearly would not be the least sacked QB in the league. Josh fixed his turnover problems too and that has helped enormously this year. I'd rather watch Josh than any other QB in the league.
Give Lamar the MVP and watch him lose in round one or two like always!
Agreed that what he values the most is a SB win and the respect of his teammates, but what Josh cares about has no bearing on whether or not he wins the MVP award. It’s what do the voters value most. They’re going to have to nitpick with how many mvp worthy seasons have been had this year. It’s a fun conversation.
If they now choose Lamar because of stats, then it means his last two MVP's were pitying his time playing because Josh had the better stats.
MVP means nothing. It is given. Out by members of the media so that they have more to talk about.
Josh gives new meaning in doing much of his work to the saying 'with one hand tied behind his back' GO BILLS
This talk wont end until we ge a ring go 17 bring it home
I'm not even a Bills fan and from my perspective, Josh Allen is the most complete QB in the NFL this year. I would put Mahomes a not-too-distant second because he just finds a way to move the chains. Try to game plan against Josh and see how many ways he can hurt you. Throwing, running, and just pure run you over power when needed. IMO, he makes the Bills must-see TV. He's the most fun guy to watch because you never know what he's going to do and more times than not it's just so good!
❤❤❤ we love him here in buffalo. Never seen anyone like him.
You must be stupid. How is he most complete when Lamar and Burriw lead the in every si goes stay literally including rushing while playing the wayyyy harder schedule and division. Idk what u ppl be seeing and im not a fan of either teams. The bills beat all these bad teams and our up less numbers all you have to do is look at the schedule. Just go look it takes 10 seconds
What makes him more complete than Lamar & Burrow ?
@@kingroyalty9621he does more with less got rid of diggs and Davis and still the best in the nfl
JA#17 is so loved in Buffalo! It touched my heart when he said he walked never ever want to play anywhere else! He is to cities mvp
Watch JA17 get screwed out of the MVP and then destroy everyone in the playoffs! SuperBowl MVP all that matters!
I would be happy with this. If it’s not Allen, Burrow deserves it. But Lamar can have his regular season MVP awards because that’s all he’ll ever get.
Josh should be MVP because he has officially taken hold of the alpha team leader. And the team has improved.
Go Josh Superbowl MVP your bills family and bills fans we know you deserve it. Do your thing Josh. Stay focus, get your rest, you have so many guys you can throw to , but please run when needed. To the defense, please stay focused, you are valuable to the team . I was at the jets game you guys were in fire! Loved it
GO BILLS JOSH ALLEN MVP
GO BILLS
Go bills
Wins = MVP, GO BILLS!!!
Then give it to Sam darnold who has more wins and better stats
Wins are not a QB stat
@WhydoIsuddenlyhaveahandle every qb has a lifetime win stat
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! GO BILLS!
GOD BLESS YOUR YEAR FOR THE VERY BEST! 🎉🥳🎆🎊🎉 🙏🕊📿✝️
Two "stats" you pundits are saying enough in the mvp discussion:
Minutes in the 4th quarter Josh isn't playing because the team is so far ahead
Availability being the best ability - 114 consecitive starts.
Lamar sat at 3 4th quarters all of which in wins. Allen got benched in one 4th quarter because he was being blown out by the Ravens.
What else ya got?
MVP is a single season award, there aren't 114 games in a single season.
It was the Bills defense took the day off that game.
@@pascualperez6692Allen had 1 turnover, 0 TDs, and it could have been worse. Ravens dropped multiple picks. Cant just blame the defense when playing against a top offense
@huntermorris7421 I see the games Lamar sat and concede that Stat isn't as one-sided as I thought when I wrote it.
@@tommcmasters8429appreciate your honesty. A breath of fresh air
Josh is more VALUABLE to the Bills than Lamar is to the Ravens…period!
Thats so debatable how can you state it as a fact?
The Ravens Oline is inferior to the Bills. Neither Ravens receiver has had a 1k yard receiving year before 2024 (Cooper has several such seasons). Derrick Henry has been declining for 5 consecutive seasons. He could easily be a measly 4 ypc if Lamar was not present. The Ravens defense has allowed more points than the Bills defense this year. Justin Tucker has missed more kicks.
Where do you see this massive gap between player value? Enlighten me
@@huntermorris7421 are you serious? Henry is having an MVP season himself and has won games for the Ravens. Plus the Ravens have good receivers and a good D. Allen is doing way more with less.
@@michaelhall9146give me some actual facts, stats, metrics that prove your point like I just did
@@michaelhall9146Cook also JUST had a game where he rushed for 100 yards on only 11 carries, had 2 TDs, in a game where the Bills won by only 3 points 23-20
I'm sure Allen did that all by himself too?
@@huntermorris7421 dont waste ur time arguing with him lmfao.
GOOO BILLS!!❤❤❤
Dan the man
❤❤❤ JOSH ALLEN MVP
Exactly Dan. If you took Josh off the Bills , Burrow off the Bengals and Lamar off the Ravens which team would you FEAR the most and the least . Ravens the most because they have an 1800 yard running back and a 1,000 yard WR. Bengals have two #1 WRs. Chase is the 2nd best WR in the NFL without question or debate. We have decent players in Buffalo but Josh is the engine . No one would fear the Bills without Josh and thats a fact .
16:08 That is a powerful statistic. Now let’s stop and think of how many 4th quarters Josh sat out in games these last 5 years because the Bills were up by so many.
Superbowl mvp
The bills do have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL so Jackson would be able to run in this offense
And throw. He would turn Dalton Kinkaid into Mark Andrews.
To take Orlovskys point a little further though. Lets play a game, in that Josh was a Raven and Lamar was a Bill, does Lamar have those same sort of "stats" that he currently has? I absolutely don't believe so. However, you Josh as a Raven...I don't think he misses a beat. The X-Factor is Henry...for sure. Josh makes everyone in the offense better. With Baltimore, Derrick Henry is who makes Lamar better. Disagree with me if you want, that's fine. It's just what my eyes/brain sees. Josh most definitely solidified his case for MVP after the bye week. All of that being said...I am also 100% biased. But yes...the ring is what he's after, not a trophy, and it's what I want for damn sure. GO BILLS!
You would be a fool to disagree with you. Henry was a 1400 yard back with Ryan Tannehill. Henry is a hall of famer 1st ballot without question. Take him off the Ravens and give him to Josh ( which i so wanted so bad ) and we don't lose one game
The ravens rbs have combined for at least 1700 yards every year Lamar has been healthy as the starter. Allen would have 10 less rushing TDs if Henry was on his team and less yards as Henry would be unstoppable behind the top 3 Oline.
Yes Henry did well with Tannehill but that was several years ago and Henrry is now age 30. Most people believed he was washed as he had regressed in 5 consecutive seasons.
As a counter point, only one receiver on either team has had a 1k yard season before and its amari cooper. Look no further than last year with Watson and 40 year old Flacco and Cooper had over 1k yards. Dont act like Allen has no weapons.
@@huntermorris7421 bills fans are dumb asf lmfao
lamar would make the billls better lmfao. bro won an mvp throwing to willie snead as his wr1.
Read some comments where people think "most points off turnovers" is a negative stat for Josh's MVP case. 🤦♀
It's funny that you used the MJ comparison Brownie. I used it as well this morning. The stories are similar. Mahomes and Jackson got drafted by teams that had been there and done that before. Only Mahomes has the rings as of yet, but literally the Lakers were great, and Magic pushed them over the edge. Boston was great and had faltered but get 3 instant superstars in the same season. Jordan goes to a team that had done nothing and literally takes over the scoring title year in and year out, everyone says he can't win the big games, until he gets the only All Star he ever played with in Pippen and never looks back. I just think it's going to come together for the Bills and Allen and our fan base will get what's been eluding us for oh so many years!
The QB numbers are a combination of Three things in my opinion. 1 Quarterbacks are more talented overall because of how much knowledge we have about overall body health nutrition and training nowadays. 2 how the rules skew twords the offense and really handcuff a defense. 3 how much creativity and progression offensively because of how long the game has been played.
JOSH ALLEN IS THE BEST QB IN THE NFL. YOU ARE NOT SACKING ALLEN . HE TAKES HIS TIME,HE THROWS THE BALL, STRAIGHT SPIRAL. HE RUNNING GAME IS OUTSTANDING. THEY BROKE THE CHIEFS WINNING STREAK. I'M KEEPING POSITIVITY THAT THE BILLS WILL BE IN THE SUPER BOWL
Go Bills Go!!!!! 💙❤️🦬🙌🏾 Love
"Overrated, window closed, will miss the playoffs." That is the narrative that was setup for Allen and the Bills coming into this season. WR1, WR2, gone. In fact, all receivers are new except for one. All captains, gone. No superstars on offense.
Allen achieved game, season, and historical records this season. Somewhere around 18-20 of them. Many of these records are long standing records. Consider that Allen and the Bills tied an NFL record for 8 straight games of 30 or more points. For every other team that did that, the QB has been MVP.
The Bills have scored over 30 points in 12/16 games this season. This years Bills squad is the highest scoring team in Buffalo history and guess what? The leading receiver has 821 yards and 13 different players have caught a TD pass. Coleman & Kincaid were out for extended periods of time. Cooper wasn't acquired until week 7 and has been injured. Allen is getting the ball to whoever is on the field. He has been in full command and winning with guys you haven't heard of.
Other MVP candidates have many more throwing attempts and have had to play to the final whistle. When you are blowing teams out, as the Bills have done, you run the ball more. You also sit your QB which the Bills have done for many 4th quarters this season. Allen has showed up for the big games producing MVP signature plays in those games. He's the only QB to beat KC and only 1 of 2 QBs to beat the NFC top team as well. (It's actually another NFL as a QB has never before beat 2 different 14 win clubs)
Allen just posted his 5th consecutive 40TD season which beats his already existing record. The next closet is 3 seasons. And Allen has averaged around 5000 total yards and 44 TD in his previous 4 seasons. He has led the highest scoring offense in that time and is second in total wins and doesn't have an MVP. It is time to give the man his flowers and to stop inventing ways or changing MVP criteria. If you want to say it's a stats award, then he should have won last year. Regardless, the MVP of the NFL for most important player to their team should have been Allen last year and is absolutely him this season.
Josh had 15 more TDs than Lamar last year and Lamar won it with the best team and the best defense....
Bc he had 18 interceptions and 7 fumbles. Be real
@@TheJimnjas I did the math last week and the touchdown:interception ratios for both Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson were not significantly different in 2023.
@@TheJimnjas if you take total touchdown subtract total turnovers Josh is better than Lamar last year and this year to be honest.
He also had 18 INTs and came in 5th place in MVP voting in 2023.
Josh Allen played a cupcake schedule this year. The teams that were over 500 or will be in the playoffs this year he is 2-3 Lamar is 7-2 and has played a much harder schedule started 0-5, a last place pass defense for half the yr, and a kicker that has missed 22 points worth of kicks. You all are funny with this Josh Allen narrative lol.
Rather sad how polarized the MVP race has become. Diminishing great players is crazy
Hoping for the big three this year. League MVP, Super Bowl MVP, Super Bowl Champion... BTW , I think all of Bills Mafia will settle for Super Bowl Champion. Go Bills
Josh is the MVP!💯 Lamar in Baltimore, Burrow in Cincy, and Barkley in Philly were ALL picked to win their divisions or make the playoffs. Stephen A. Smith, and Dan Orlovsky can speak to it, picked the Bills to be DAMN NEAR last in the AFC East. He had the Jets and Miami ahead of us. The Bills "can't win" without Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis. Remember that???? What did Josh and crew have to say about that? FIVE HUNDRED +++ points and franchise record 509! with 13 wins! And we're not done yet💯Josh IS the MVP! PERIOD!💯
Really don't care about MVP. Only care about SB.
Just win the superbowl. Forget that MVP stuff.
Allen deserves MVP
Allen is more valuable to his team than lamar Jackson. When I have a situation like this I say what would be their teams records without them??? I say Jackson has Derrick Henry and his team would be 8 and 9 maybe even a playoff team like the titans were, nobody would argue that without Allens team would be 3 and 14
Is this a better QB era than Montana, Elway, Young, Kelly, Marino Esiason, Cunningham? Maybe if a few of these young guys step up.
Bickering over details aside, we’re all fortunate to see an era of incredible quarterback play.
No, it's Allen Mahomo Burrow Herbert Stafford, that's about it..
You forgot Lamar, otherwise I agree though I'm not so sure about Stafford. But I can see Stroudt, Nix, Maye, Love, and maybe even Williams and Penix showing out and making it an era.
@@jcZo23Put some respect on Lamar's name.
Let’s go Buffalo!
We will win the big one within 2-3 yrs.. If not, Coach may have to go...although I would not agree.
Meant to say on fire!
Someone made this highlight reel of Josh this season. Nobody else has the body of work that Allen has in his highlight reels. Incredible throws from the pocket, on the run, out of bounds, running through, over and around guys. He's a 1 of 1.

How does Dan Orlovsky have an MVP vote if he WORKS FOR THE BILLS?
Works for the Bills? LoL "paid for by Cesarso sports book" he does this for multiple teams 🤡
2020 Allen got really robbed compare all and Lamar stats that year Lamar won mvp. He had 3,000 passing yards 27 TD 9 int. Allen 5,000 passing 37 TD 10 int’s 😂 he lost mvp to Lamar 😂 I don’t want to hear 👂🏽 about stats from Lamar fans plus last year Allen’s stats destroyed Lamar’s so 🤫
Lamar didn’t win in 2020 goofy, yall don’t even know what you’re talking about
I agree Lamar is having a historic season.
But Allen had a historic season last year leading the league in yards/touchdowns, first player ever with 4 straight 40 YD yeats, last year, and the lowest EPA lost to negative plays and turnovers in the league, and it didn't matter for him
If the defense has some relatively decent stats regarding pressures and so on, isn't it really coaching that keeps them from being able to stop the run? There's defensive schemes or something that just aren't good
Can I be an analyst n make millions talking football if I fail miserably in the NFL why do we even listen to these guys.. excluding tasker ofc he's a national treasure
Will the Bills be 100% fully healthy by the time the playoffs starts?
Already are.
He shouldn’t have an MVP vote at all. Complete conflict of interest.
He works for ESPN chill dude !
If allen doesn't get the mvp then their not voting on mvp its a popularity award and lamar has had a great season but it isnt better then allen hes got 5 loses and their isnt 1 thing lamar has done that allen hasnt also allen has elevated a less talented team while lamar shown to underperform
I’m sorry but someone who only gets in the playoffs if 2 other teams lose in the final week should not get MVP.
Josh doesn't want MVP !!!!.... He wants superbowl MVP !!!!!!
Burrow with 8-9 losses and Barkley a RB aren’t serious contenders for MVP. I think it’s btwn Allen and Lamar and Allen is clearly doing more with less.
Doing more with less is the definition of most valuable
I am a Bills fan but if Burrow gets into the playoffs I would say his fans would have a case but I want Josh!!!
@@joannerubin892 it's the same thing as Josh last year
@@faceofbearr really? The bengals are taking the ball out of Burrows hands so he doesn’t throw the season away? Burrows stats completely dwarf allens last year lmao the dude had 18 int
@@paulschlacter4388 they fired they're offensive coordinator and went 5 wins straight to take the division back from Miami. It is similar. Miss me with the turnover garbage
@ your rebuttal is “we fired our bad OC” josh allen had 5 td and 5 int in that 5 game win streak
Its just crazy to me how after the chiefs win he was clear front runner then lost to rams but had 3 rushing and 3 throwing touchdowns i cant believe were even still debating this ravens got better bills got worse was the clear narrative touted before season now we sit here bills are 2 games better record wise and certain moments in games allens had to do so much more then lamar i like lamar but thats just the truth the year lamar won it and dorsey got fired people railed about turnover meanwhile he accounted for 88% of teams total offense
Josh Allen made the playoffs last year against all odds when he had almost no chance…and nobody really cared….
It certainly didn’t earn him an MVP.
Wishywashy Dan
Tbh I hope Josh doesn’t win MVP. He will play with a chip and so will the team because they will go through a wall for that man!!
Last year josh had the stats that were the best for the year but Lamar made more happen with less. This year it’s the opposite to the T and now ppl are mad josh has similar stats but has done more with less talent and ppl are acting like Josh has had an MVP level running back and offensive player of the year player’s that have had great seasons after josh has had to carry the sad buffalo bills teams
The stats gap this year is MUCH larger than last year and the talent gap is not as big as people are making it seem
if bengals make playoffs look at burrow? you mean like when the bills were 6-6 and out of playoffs and josh allen got them to the 2 seed? oh well look at the stats you mean like last year when josh allen led the "mvp" in most stats? these mvp talks are ridiculous.
A lot of the voters are Lamar fanboys.. What's the difference?
Ironic Sean is like the “competition person” for the NFL and this game is like incentivized to where the loser benefits more than the winner.
ravens are a bad matchup. great run offense
Buffalo
.
MVP is a joke. It is given out by members of the media. Thats all I should have to say.
Ahhh yes. Dan’s opinions make a little more sense now. Financially incentivized to be a bit bias I see
Burrow has Jamar chase and tee Higgins though haha that's two number one receivers. Allen doing it with nobodys
Nobody's? REALLY???
