Devoured Loop DESPERATELY needed those fixes...nowhere was it stated in the original dlc launch patch notes that it would no longer reset active skills. Even if they left the fully refunded skill charges on it, this one change was more than enough to put a final nail in it's coffin. It was the only alternative to looping through skills infinitely besides investing heavily into skill haste, which obviously isn't something you want to do on a gun focused build. Good fix on devs part👍
I already had a Ritualist/Archon firestorm build with Amulet of the Sun wrecking Apocalypse. They buffed my mod generation by 15% and my damage by another 20%. Cool.
Can we just take a minute to appreciate how great the devs are for this game! These guys listen and give us what we want without destroying our builds with every patch. They literally let made every build of mine better with this patch shout out to tragic and the remnant team! Why I got over 1200 hours in this game!
Ah man kinda sad about Havoc movement nerf but i welcome the masive buff to status dmg, i was loving Ritualist/Invoker for fast mob clearing and reverse for bosses.
I think what peopel may be missing is somethign that may be making a return. Remnant 1 had Survival mode, its like a rogue like mode in the game for those that didn't play it. Super fun, and i loved it anyways. I would not be surprised if the next dlc introduces survival mode, and since survival mode is you gotta make builds on the fly. They may want things to be on a similar power level so that people don't feel like they have zero choices in that game mode. which diid happen in remnant 1.
I would not stop playing survival mode if it dropped. Other than buildcrafting, I have seen everything remnant has to offer, and then some. A survival mode would be absolutely incredible, and I have no doubt that it will be here at some point. I LOVE roguelikes!
They buffed my Sacrificial Pyromancer build quite significantly. I am so much stronger now. All my damage is fire damage so I got an overall 15% damage increase, then an additional 10% Burn DoT increase (burn double dips into talisman of the sun) as well my statuses lasting only 50% of the duration instead of 35%. So yeah I'm eating well today
I found something I really want you to try make a build around. The cyclone melee weapon now procs certain melee mutators, shielded strike is the most obvious one but the one I want you to try is the Shocker mutator. You'll see what I mean when you try it but its one of the most fun things ive found in a while
Much needed. Amazing patch. Crit is still hurting a bit (like just give atonement fold back it’s 10% chance please lol or have Ravager bargain give you 10% instead of 5%) but I’m sure they’ll adjust that stuff later. Only real gripe I have is that the windfall mod on C.Deceit still doesn’t proc weak spots on some bosses (Anni, OTK)
Crit is hurt a little bit, but I am so SO very glad for the meta shift. There's definitely a lot of weird interactions with certain weapons against certain bosses. I just had one with crystal staff and Shrewd where it basically couldn't find him
@@IHaveInsipidus oh no doubt. I love my HUGS stuff but definitely enjoying the variety now. Invoker has a lot to do w/ variety as well. Before only option we had for looping skills was devoured loop. Now it’s a whole new shift. I’m just saying on some things they may have went a touch overboard. But I reckon that’ll work itself out w/ the new paragon-like system upcoming so, gotta establish a good baseline first and this is most fun build crafting I’ve had in a minute.

I will say I love the buffs to specific damage type rings since it was at the point “yeah okay, but why would I not just run burden of the destroyer?” Also, amplitude applying twice to the Ritualist prime perk explains SO MUCH cause I’m like “huh, those damage numbers seem a bit further then the 20m”
That would be cool, but I imagine that would get a bit crazy and make hyperconductor an auto pick for ALL summon builds, making the rest of the summoning amulets obsolete.
The Havoc form nerfs suck pretty bad. With all of the nerfs on DLC launch, the havoc build was saving grace for me. It was a refreshing change of pace and very fun. Sad to see

I also want to see a hardcore apoc reward if I were a dev or had an input I'd choose that reward to be changing the under clothing to jet black instead of the dirty sweat stained white we currently have. I would also like to see the way the shirt looks when wearing the newest armor set fixed. If you equip the pants Disciple Greaves and then unequip the chest piece you can see what I am talking about, the shirt looks ridiculous as it currently is and that's a bug I would absolutely love to see fixed but I would much rather be able to either customize your underwear or have a hardcore nightmare and apoc reward that changes the color of the underwear to jet black. I can't stand the way it currently looks but I do like to play on veteran with no clothing wearing worn admiral ring without a relic equipped so having to see the nasty clothes absolutely bothers the crap out of me! 😅 Those are about the only things I personally could ask for, I'm sure I could think of other things but I really only care about these things.

I have beaten it twice, and I will gladly do it again if it means unlocking a sweet reward. I'm sure one of the reasons they don't want to do this is for backlash from the community. But, hey... why not have something really hard to grind for?! I remember a livestream I did a little while back with colored tank tops and shit. I just don’t think it’s good design to make the functionally most optimal build in the game that uninteractive. At least infinite havoc loop provided the power fantasy of being Zeus, all bloodless heart spam gives you is carpal tunnel.
I sadly still can't get thorn dps higher than Invoker x Gunslinger with Haste and Bulletstorm spam. Unless I'm missing something, even the 70% additive explosion damage from Summoner can't beat the attack speed and reload speed that combo offers. At least now the Mod Damage fragment adds a little more dps to that combo though! **In fairness. Gunslinger x Summoner has slightly higher burst dps but lower sustained due to not being able to keep bulletstorm up.

I've never understood why Band Of The Fanatic exists. Even after this _"buff"_ its overall effect just seems to be that you get to lose 35% of your status effect damage in exchange for losing a ring slot (1.3 damage × 0.5 duration = 0.65 damage output = 1 - 0.65 = 0.35 lost elemental damage). Like... what an I missing? What's the point of it?

I thought that shock D.O.T.s were just like regular DO.T.s,, but that it just did negligible damage for ~5 seconds, and then made up for doing so little damage with a big pop. Like it's a regular D.O.T., but that most of the damage is bunched up on some interval of time and that, overall, it still averages out to doing similar damage to any other D.O.T..

Confidence Booster & Stoneskin supplement for it, allowing for either a higher DMG mutator, or shielded strike. And shielded strike plus mirage and ring of spears is unlimited shield. especially since mirage's sandstorm should now trigger melee mutators
I think there might be more than one thing in the entire game that is enjoyable. Plus, havoc forms' biggest change was a bug fix, that would explain the absolutely insane movement speed lol
@@IHaveInsipidus Compared to the first game, Remnant 2 has basically nothing going for it. I got the game and season pass because the first game was so good. Now I'm stuck with a game that wouldn't have been worth buying if it had been on sale. Havoc form is the only thing that is enjoyable in the game. Now the movement speed of it has been reduced to a crawl so it is going to be almost worthless against any boss that is even remotely aggressive. I'd rather be stuck dealing with the stagger bug still than be unable to use the one and only saving grace of this entire game.
@@IHaveInsipidus They really aren't. The first game was filled with diversity and almost every armor set, weapon, and mod was worthy of a build. Now we have 5 mod's that just change what ammo type you have. The only mod's we have that actually do decent damage are locked to boss guns and can't be used with anything else. There is a complete lack of utility mods. The dev's were so focused on trying to make the class system and skills stand out that they completely neglected the rest of the game.

Don't know any other stealth buffs at the moment, BUT Brawler's Pride now grants 5% melee crit chance! Wow!

The devs have done an outstanding job of making trinket choices MUCH harder to choose from, and more versatile
Best patch ever. Invoker/ archon issues I've had are all gone! Stagger and skill cooldown reset were getting annoying.

The first thing that comes to mind would be like, max shock damage and hitting HUGE Overloads

Steadfast is way better for mirage blender build, no way to be interrupted while being a blender
Confidence Booster & Stoneskin supplement for it, allowing for either a higher DMG mutator, or shielded strike. And shielded strike plus mirage and ring of spears is unlimited shield. especially since mirage's sandstorm should now trigger melee mutators

The Havoc form nerf actually just makes me cry. It was literally the one thing in the entire game that is actually enjoyable and they had to nerf it.
I think there might be more than one thing in the entire game that is enjoyable.
Plus, havoc forms' biggest change was a bug fix, that would explain the absolutely insane movement speed lol
@@IHaveInsipidus Compared to the first game, Remnant 2 has basically nothing going for it. I got the game and season pass because the first game was so good. Now I'm stuck with a game that wouldn't have been worth buying if it had been on sale. Havoc form is the only thing that is enjoyable in the game. Now the movement speed of it has been reduced to a crawl so it is going to be almost worthless against any boss that is even remotely aggressive. I'd rather be stuck dealing with the stagger bug still than be unable to use the one and only saving grace of this entire game.

@@IHaveInsipidus They really aren't. The first game was filled with diversity and almost every armor set, weapon, and mod was worthy of a build. Now we have 5 mod's that just change what ammo type you have. The only mod's we have that actually do decent damage are locked to boss guns and can't be used with anything else. There is a complete lack of utility mods. The dev's were so focused on trying to make the class system and skills stand out that they completely neglected the rest of the game.
I hate buffs and nerfs in all pve games... Shit is annoying af
