Why does Turnitin still make the default due dates and post dates about one month after the start dates? That has never made any sense. Every time I use it, I have to be vigilant about making sure the dates I set up are right on all parameters --- making especially sure that the MONTH is still right. How many teachers set up an assignment and then tell the students that they don't have to finish it for a MONTH???

It's more, for me, the fact that they set them to be the same time. (Due & post dates in 1 month). Where I work, staff often set up assignments dropboxes at the start of term, to encourage students to save & check drafts as they go, so 1 month is often too short in this case. What I'd really like would be a way to define, as an administrator, typical gaps between Start, due & post dates - so institutions can set things up in a way that works for most & only a few staff have to edit them.
So, it would be ideal if staff could enter the due date (as that's usually the most set in stone) & the software would then predict an expected start / post date - which staff would only have to over-ride if needed.
