      i have one little query
      is this full complete playlist? like is it enough to prepare for Azure DE exam?

      @dydx3741 not yet. There are still about ten episodes to be recorded.

    Hey, one more thing worth saying that was not mentioned: you cannot use archive access tier within ZRS and GZRS/ RA-GZRS redundancy, which kind of surprised me.

    Hi @TybulOnAzure this playlist is invaluable. Not only this playlist helps for the certification but also helps to understand the services holistically and prepare for interviews. Would you be kind enough to create a similar playlist for system design for data engineers as well. Thank you for this wonderful content🙌🙌

    32:55 fifteen thousand days is not 5 years, rather 41 years. This little maneuver is gonna cost us : ))

      Haha, you are absolutely right. I have no idea why I assumed that it will be 5 years. Apparently it's time to refresh my math skills.

    Thanks mate for the detailed explanations! Just want to know if data lake partitioning is also part of designing the data lake? Are we going to cover partitioning for data lake?

    • @TybulOnAzure
      @TybulOnAzure  Год назад +2

      Yes, partitioning is a part of designing a data lake and it will be covered in future episodes.

    I have been working Network and security over 18 plus years now planning to migrate myself to Data Engineer/Analyst, I viewed paid material and must say this one is far better than any other material I have gone through so far....
    Do you cover for DP-300 and az-305? I will even purchase any paid content....

    • @TybulOnAzure
      @TybulOnAzure  3 месяца назад

      Nope, I don't have plans to cover DP-300 or AZ-305.

    Could you explain Last Access vs Last modified again? I don't think I understood the difference between these two rules.

    • @TybulOnAzure
      @TybulOnAzure  7 месяцев назад +1

      Imagine a case when you have a file that was last updated 3 years ago but it is read on a daily basis, e.g. it contains a dictionary of your products. In such case:
      1. Last modified date - would be set to "today-3 years" as it indicates the date when the file was last updated.
      2. Last accessed date - would be set to "today" as it indicates the date the file was last accessed (you read it today).
      So even though it was updated so long ago, probably you would like to keep it in hot access tier due to frequent reads.

    • @hasancatalgol1273
      @hasancatalgol1273 7 месяцев назад

      @@TybulOnAzure so the applications read operation does not count to Last Access but only Last Modified. What is the benefit of seeing that exactly?

    Hej, pytanie co do Retention Period. Istnieja ograniczenia nadane z góry przez Azure (30, 90 dni etc) per Tier. Czyli np w naszym lifecycle management ustawimy, ze w Tier 'Cool' bedzie mniej niz te 30 dni to 'Early Deletion Fee' bedzie tutaj normalnie zaaplikowane? Czy moze jezeli z gory sobie ustawiamy te zasady (w filmiku Rules) to Retention Period nie nastepuje?

    • @TybulOnAzure
