Epic vid bro. I fish my favorite reservoir, and it stretches approx through three towns. Sometimes the winds make it look like the ocean. They are extremely strict, on inspection. I have my 2022 Impulse 120, fin drive, and I also run the Newport Vessel NK-180. I replaced all my seals with thicker ones from home Depot. And I never go out without my bilge pump. With batteries, electronics, and accessories. But safety is the most important thing, on any large or small body of water. 🙏 😎 🎣
What kind of speeds were you getting on the NK? Going against the current on the Delta, I was hitting 3.5 - 3.8. With the current, around 4.5 - 4.7. And that's with my battery on the back.
i get around 4.4-4.7 on a calm day on a lake. Anything faster than that, im getting assisted by wind or current. Try lowering your motor so its under the rudder. BTW, the delta it is hard to calibrate your motor efficiency. Too many variables.

its a tad faster than my Titan. around 4.7-5.0 on a calm day.
