This is a horrible place I visited it in the rains and I got the most expensive rooms. I think its from where they said you can gaze at the stars...the place was a disaster - there was water everywhere in the rooms and the staff was most uncaring and insensitive. We put towels across in the rooms to try and stop the water flow.but it was constant and the towels did not help and mind you this was inside the room. We asked for changing the room and they said nothing else is there. The overall attitude was ‘its your problem we cannot help’ !!! We did not know who was the owner else we would have emailed them then.i would never ever recommend this place. After we spoke to the management there they finally after we put our foot down agreed to arrange for a car for us and we left -losing our money and our sanity for that period of time. No one ever even bothered offering any refund on the days that we did not stay as we left the every next day after arrival and were rude and insensitive. I have travelled across countries and never known hospitality staff to be so rude and uncaring. This happened a few years ago- but the memory of the event was so so horrid that when I saw this video it came back. I would never ever go back there nor recommend it to anyone...
From Andheri it took us 2.5 hours to reach , we booked car to and fro and luckily the driver was from lonavala so he stayed at his home while we were at hotel
No DOS and don'ts , just chill , everything is taken care of. Mobile Internet/phone signal is not available so be well aware of that and inform family and friends accordingly.

How many days prior did you booked the starlight machan?
We booked 2 weeks prior , infact starlight wasn't available so we actually changed dates to get one.
