- Langkawi is an island off the west coast of Malaysia boasting beautiful beaches and jungles. It also happens to be a Tax Free island. But just how cheap is it? Today, we’re taking it to the extreme and limiting ourselves to just $50 for the entire day. INCLUDING a hotel, our own set of wheels, food and all the rest.

Guy guys. The reasons why a lot of the eateries are closed is because its fasting month so muslim shops will be closed for business. They are usually open after 3pm to cater for people who break their fast. During this time you should go to the ramadan bazaar for dinner. You'd be spoiled for choice.
Yes we know that’s why haha. But thank you for watching 🙏
@@adamandyaz You should go to Baazar Ramadan. It was an open bazaar, mostly opened in 4pm to 6pm. It has a lot of delicious food!
oh no, you missed Air Terjun Telaga Tujuh (Seven Wells Waterfall) near the skybridge cable car. It's free admission where you have to trek through the mountain.
We have lots of time here we will see it 😊
your type of vlogging is next level for sure. i like how spontaneous and funny u guys were. enjoy langkawi! it is my favourite place on earth❤
Wow thank you so much! It is an amazing place
hey welcome to malaysia! since its ramadhan, theres a night market called "bazaar" which have lots of variety of foods. if u visited in Kuala Lumpur (a capital city), theres a 2 well known bazaar which is "bazaar jalan raja alang" and "bazaar ttdi", it is recommend to go there as early as 4.30pm as it is super crowd. and the food i recommend is satay, roti john, kebab, samosa, popia basah, murtabak, tepung pelita(sweet dessert). and for drinks i would recommend is tea tarik, milo, cendol, ABC, lai chi kang (make sure to mix all the ingredients in the drinks yea).
plus malaysia is known as a diversity country which is malay, chinese, and indian, so u gonna get the taste of 3 different style of cooks.
hope u enjoy travelling in malaysia and feel free to ask anything as we malaysian are super friendly people! 😊
Thank you so much! Amazing, we're looking forward to KL! 😃
Both of you sound so positive and relaxing. 👍 Hope you guys enjoy Malaysia 🇲🇾
Haha we try, not always though 😆
with this type of content, get ready with the subs that'll coming in!. Welcome to Malaysia, where every foreigners will gain their traction. One tips, get in touch with the locals. Malaysian loves to see how foreigners interact with us. "Take one step closer we'll do two".
yall are SWEATING 😅😂😂. Have fun guys!!! I miss my hometown Malaysia, been in France way too long
I'm Malaysian, currently living overseas. I'm unfamiliar with prices in Langkawi NOW, but generally, tourist destinations will be a lot more expensive. I would've managed a day for USD50. One note tho, Langkawi is a duty free territory, where there are no duty for Alcohol and Cigarettes. IF you would've bought can beers from the town (Kuah town), it would've cost a fraction of the cost than having it at a bar facing the ocean. You could've brought the cans, sit down on the beach and still enjoyed your beer ocean front. Good tips from y'all tho. Nice video, please keep it up!
Love your content of Langkawi so far!
There is so much to Malaysia.
We are really underrated compared to our neighbours Thailand & Indonesia.
Hope you guys can show more of our beautiful nation. West & East side ♥️ keep it up guys!
It does get you a lot! Cannot wait to sit down and watch your episode in full, I sense it is a brilliant movie again! :) Happy days, our top-tier content creators have launched another gem into the platform!
Thank you so much! Hope you enjoyed it 😄
@@adamandyaz Tell me about it, of course we did!
AMAZING GUYS. Makes me so damn pumped to see these videos. The quality is wild.
Thank you Christian 🙏 we're pumped to make them 😃
You guys are hilarious. Loving every minutes watching your fast paced and witty videos. Can't wait for the next one. Kudos. 💕
Wow thank you so much 😃
Haha, this 'episode' reminds me of THE Basement Jaxx video! (only oldies will get that).
PS. aside from MSG, the noodles probably taste so good because of 'wok hei' (pronounced, er, 'wok hey').
Love the drone shots overlooking the winding road approaching the top of gunung raya 👍
Thank you Jon!
I like your randomness and superb energy. Enjoy your stay in Malaysia.
Aww bummer going to Malaysia during Ramadan. Thk u for the heads up! I was thinking of Lombok during March/April next yr but maybe I’ll head there before then aim for bali or Thailand when it’s ramadan. Lots of things to consider with holidays + rainy season 😅
If you had gone to Ramadhan Bazaar, foods are way cheaper and a lot of varieties. I'm not sure where you can find one in Langkawi but the Bazaar is all over the country during Ramadhan and I'm sure Langkawi is no exception. Business starts from 4pm to dusk.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video n for showing your challenge in Langkawi.
D view from on top of d Tower on Gunung Raya is spectacular 360°.There is a swimming pool fronting one of d 99 Islands at d hotel, which is now still closed for a renovation.
Amazing, with USD50, u guys got a room, rent a car, self tour on d island, some food n drink, sightseeing of monkeys everywhere, that's a big deal n value for money.
If u guys r still on d island or anywhere in Malaysia, note that only d Muslim have to close their eateries during d day n open few hours before iftar, breaking of d fasting. If u r in d town, Kuah, there r few malls n d fast food restaurants r all opened, so do d eateries owned by d non muslim. Be sure to check d open night markets in Langkawi, they should be opening few hours before iftar, d breaking of fast.
Nice content and info..
I really love the way your vlogging😂. Keep it up mate.. subs!
Speaking of coffee you should visit Penang and Ipoh *Kopi Tiam* (coffee shop) which you will enjoy different versions of coffee. If you are planning to visit Penang I'll gladly introduce actual local food.
That sounds amazing, can't wait to try them out 😃
During ramadhon all the restaurants will be allowed to open after 3 pm only.
Are you heading to KL? it’s expensive but towers are so cool!
During Ramadhan it is hard to find food unless you are going to look for Indian or Chinese food. For vegans, it's best to look for indian and chinese food. Most Malay food are not vegetarians. BTW the chili (sambal) for the roti canai usually have anchovies in them.
Welcome to Malaysia you can come and play in the very historical Malacca, i believe you will like
No one in Gunung Raya because all residents are fasting in Ramadhan right now. My hometown in Perlis but i remain in Kuala Lumpur. If you require my advice wish to go to Malaysia that you want to visit just let me know.
Maybe because its Ramadan month, weekdays and like under the hot sun?
Hahaha... usually we hide from the sun until evening time (4-5pm++) or very early in the morning (before 8-9am)
Looks like a lot of fun for usd 53, not dissapointed :D
When will you guys visit another state in malaysia.
When did you guys film this If I may ask?
Depending on model the indicator is either left or right on the cars.
True, we never saw it on the right until Malaysia though
Where did you rent the car from? Can you provide the link of the Car Rental shop please?
Guys, if youvneed good coffee, Macdonald is not the place
You need to head to local coffee shop i.e "kopitiam"
You guys forgot to factor in the cost of fuel for your little car. That'll cost you guys another Rm10 at the least. But you guys are hilarious, keep up the good work!😂
Welcome n enjoy
Terimah kasih 😃
the hotel at gunung raya, they probably couldn't cope with the lost of tourism during the pandemic. seeing the timeline, they closed for renovation in 2018 which means they should reopen just before the pandemic. with the cost of renovation and then the lack of income due to pandemic, maybe they just didn't survive. but idk I'm not from langkawi.
R u guys planning on going to Penang in this trip?
Absolutely! 😃
Put Indonesia in your last bucket list. It will be definitely complete your whole journey.
Orang langkawi, nak tanya skrg ni mmg langkawi tak ramai org sbb bulan ramadan atau mmg sebelum ramadan langkawi dah takda pengunjung? 🤔 Tahun lepas pergi ramai je org.
Can anyone name this waterfall pls its not seven wells
Malaysia is most interesting Muslim country in the world besides India ;). Awesome vlog guys..keep it up !
India is not a Muslim country lol
You're one funny guy brother 😂
Hi. Where abouts did you hire car for 15 dollars. How much deposit was needed for this. Also besides driving licence anything else we need.
Thank you
If you guys drive Proton, the indicator is on the left(which apparently the locals call the oddball in car design)
I cant speak for Toyota, Nissan or the Mercedes here though
@@Zahri8Alang japanese cars indicators usually on the right, conti cars usually on the left
@@loudcatcher13A I don't think Yasmin was allowed a nice car ( like a Toyota) in the UK, probably kept pranging them! :'-) Hello Yaz, Keep up the good work (and let Adam watch the Formula 1) ❤❤❤
Love the waterfall.. btw ramadan really test ur patient😂😂😂

Well you bought the necklace. Otherwise it would have been within budget
Ramadan bro. People fasting
Yaz is so attractive. I get lost in her smile and dream of a day in the tropics. Then she farts and pretends it's her shoe or something. The things you have to put up with Adam!
😂😂😂 We've been thinking of implementing a "Comment of the Week" style thing at the end of our video and i think you just became the first winner 🏆 😆

I hate minkeys because they are aggressive also they always stole rubbish from bins and make a mess!
