I started baking about a month ago but my loafs always come out to dense. ive read into it and i think im killing the yeast with the salt. is that why you added it to the water with the sugar? Just trying to pick your brain alittle bit Mrs Bri big thumbs up
I only add a pinch of sugar to the yeast to make it rise. I add salt to my other dry ingredients. But the water should be anywhere between 110°-115° F or it’ll either not activate it if it’s too cold or kill it if it’s too hot. I just use my tap water on the hottest it can go and have no issues 😊
