When you are hosting guests, you should have a duty of care. I have a small flat but if someone disappeared for 5 mins I would check on them, let alone a big house.
If Mr Lubbock died of drowning, if you knew that there was an open body of water and people were taking substances, then you are in fact responsible. It's not a free for all when someone crosses your threshold, much like a driver is responsible for passengers who don't buckle up when the car is in motion.
Michael Barrymore may be innocent in the court of law, but he is not a good person by allowing people to take drugs, have rough sex/ be raped in his home and drown. Just degenerate behaviour at the bare minimum.
Hopefully, he's had a shock and doesn't prove to be a nuisance going forward, assuming he wasnt directly involved in his death.

Guilty or not only those there know what happened but you ran away and ranks were closed behind you protecting the guilty. I think Essex Police stated that it wasn't due to lack of evidence but administrative errors a couple of years ago.

I doubt the police would of cared about the cocaine in Barrymore's house unless there some taken by Lubbock. I don't believe that no-one saw nothing nor do I believe he drowned like Barrymore told Piers Morgan. Barrymore is and was all me, me, me on Piers Morgan same when he did the speech at the University. Was their hush money and his late wife wrote an intriguing tell all book.
I don't know what happened but why is everyone so secretive? If someone had compassion they would of grassed or even Barrymore assisting the police further he is shady.
From my experience of being burgled, the police told me to stay put indoors. no one leaves house until the police arrived as it now officially a crime scene. The coroner was probably bribed as evidence was bungled. Alex Belfield didn't help either, he said that Lubbock was gay and the nightclub was a gay club, in which a lot people said it was not a gay club.
2 were gay at that party. One was Michael. So if it wasn't him then it's the other guy. Or it was a straight guy that didn't want to be called out for having gay sex. He knows what happened and he knows who could of done it if not who has done it. The fact he was found just in his boxers is the main thing in all of this... so he died after having sex...

Not enough evidence to charge is not an exoneration and he clearly seeks to 'red herring' people over that point.
Saying 'i am innocent' is a statement of his legal position - not a statement to the effect of 'i never did it'.
The re-casting of Barrymore as 'the victim' here is beyond weird.
I've thought for quite a few years that he has 'missing time' on the night and doesn't actually know what he or anyone else did.

there are two components to this.
1) did he physically commit the crime?
2) did he help to cover it up, have knowledge of who did etc? Taking part in such a conspiracy is still a crime.
Stating 'i am innocent' or 'i am not guilty' is merely a repetition of a person's legal position. It is not an explicit statement that he did nothing wrong.

I think this tragedy happened outside while micheal and the majority of his guests were inside, obviously a sadistic rapist ended up murdering him and dumping him in the pool to make it look like a drowning, i don't think for one minute that Michael Barrymore is capable of such a crime, not at all, also he should never have been hounded and treated the way he was, he should never have lost his career , the trolls, the press should be ashamed of themselves for how they behaved and reacted with no truth behind any of their cruel unjust accusations.
