I remember watching this movie with my mom and brother when it came out, I couldn’t shut up about it for hours 🤣 I think this is one of the best Xmen movies
He was actually using something similar to ultrasound so the kinetic energy being produced by the sound waves caused the molecules in the window frame to vibrate and overheat thus causing it to melt. Though you actually probably wouldn't have heard it but anyway it was cool nonetheless!!

What I love about the powers exhibited here, is how they made use of them. Usually, superheroes have "made for heroes" powers. Like, conventional shit. But this is true to concept. This is a mutant who has a weird ability that can be harnessed in a multitude of ways.
Underrated comment and totally makes sense most popular mutants have such powers that are easily accessible and aren't really creative like professor x magneto ,jean grey cyclops iceman and etc but mutants like banshee , rogue and kitty pryde have some unique powers that aren't straight up offense
That's the reason I love the X-Men. Save for a few highly specific cases Like Storm, Colossus, or Shadowcat most Mutants had quirky powers, but trained them to the limits and were able to do great things.

Well yeah. Sound travels faster through liquids and solids than in gases. So yeah, sound waves can travel faster than sound. But sound waves in the air that are faster than sound would probably cause shockwaves.

He had less control over it and therefore the volume was much higher than what he wanted, plus it was for a shorter duration.
