These people spend their military entertaining the public and the troops. The talent I Is unbelievable and the hours they put into entertaining the troops and the audiences and and letting people,know what great and talented military we have is amazing!!
I love the Sea Chanters. I could listen to them all day. In these trying times because of the COVID-19, they are just what people need to listen too to lift their spirits.

I think they are going to need to start playing in considerably bigger venues when they start touring again. I really don’t think this band know how good they really are! How do you learn the names of the SeaChanters? Do they have their own website? I had the good fortune to work on base at Great Lakes from 1968 to 1971. My best memories were taking my 1966 red Mustang convertible every Friday and Saturday night to the EM Club. My best friend and I had no shortage of dance partners. Both of us met our husbands there. My GMM3 and I just celebrated our 50th anniversary this past Saturday, May 16. The music these young men and women perform so beautifully are songs from that era. When I hear them, I stop what I’m doing and start dancing and singing...much to the embarrassment of my grandchildren. Those 50 years just melt away and I’m 18 again! Thank you so much for bringing back so much happiness. It’s amazing how as a couple of 70 yo we can get our groove back on...but only in the big kitchen w/the hardwood floors and w/our socks on! Thank you all, singers and musicians! Job well done.

Rick Jones the one who sang Uptown Girl is Senior Chief Michael Belinkie. He is one of my favorites. He always takes the time to talk to you they all do. 💜⚓️🎶
@@karenclutter1117 it's not an eagle. In the Navy, a Chief Petty Officer wears a Gold Fouled Anchor, with the letters USN on them. You are correct about Senior Chiefs having 1 Star, and Master Chief's having 2 Stars. The Star or Stars are placed on the Anchors, not an eagle.
@@MrCool82 We are both correct. The whites have the anchor on the collar and the winter jacket has the eagle at the top of the left sleeve. Basically yes, the enlisted rank is indicated by the fouled anchor.
Great stuff as usual- but IMO, and WITH respect to all these fine musicians , "Respect " was jointly nailed by Otis and Aretha, and the choice of any singer above contralto doesn't work. A certain throatiness is also needed.
