There's not a lot of people that understand my (and my 3 daughter's) love/obsession with Disney, especially the Polynesian, but I have a feeling you do as well as many in this "Disney family"! So happy I found you during quarantine!
Josh, this was absolutely one of your best relaxing stroll videos! The sky was so clear and beautiful, and the lake was absolutely gorgeous. It really made my day to watch this. Thanks for braving the heat to film this. On the other hand, there were no other people to worry about having to dodge, haha.
So weird to walk through the Grand Floridian and not hear the band or pianist playing. Watching! Always watching. While it was a little surreal, it was also, VERY pleasant. Thank You!

FINALLY staying at the Poly for the first time ever in September!!!! Masks, distancing, "new normal," I don't care, I am just SO happy to have this chance! It's my dream resort.
Hey Josh, I actually prefer when you narrate, it's like having a guided tour. If some people like it quiet maybe you could release two versions, one narrated and one silent? Great job!
Thank you Josh. It is a beautiful stroll. So glad you went inside the Grand’s main building. I noticed the big vases didn’t have flowers in them. It is nice and quiet. They cancelled our March trip. I miss my Grand home.

Love the view of the Grand Floridian and Contemporary across the lake! Amazing how still the water was. It must have felt super luxurious to have the Grand Floridian to yourself - Just imagine being able to do that!
Wow, a mostly empty Floridian hotel + older music makes the Floridian feel a little like the lobby queue at Tower of Terror, especially around 19:25. The music between the two is very similar. A very clean but eerie feeling.
This makes my heart happy. Thank you so much (and whomever got you in) for this stroll and live stream. I’ll be at WDW July 14th-20th and I can already tell tears will be shed. It’s hard to not get emotional at these sights and sounds. It’s home.
With the GF being so empty and not seeing anyone but your are able to hear the music and hotel cast members talking in the background, it kind of reminds me of a scene of the lobby in the movie The Shinning.

That place is way nicer than the All Star Resorts we usually stay at lol. We got reservations at a Fort Wilderness cabin for next time and I’m excited to try something new.
Thanks for the content. I thought I had read resorts were not going to be allowing anyone in who was not staying there? I am glad I am most likely mistaken! We are scheduled to visit in November and would really love to resort hops considering we can no longer park hop! Can you confirm? TIA!
The rule is still that only guests with reservations are allowed, but I saw several people resort hopping, at least from Poly to Grand Floridian since they are a quick stroll away from each other.
The GF lobby really demonstrates how empty WDW is right now. It's usually full of ambient noise and music. But here, things are so dead you can almost understand the conversation those two CMs were having across the cavernous room. Stark contrast to GCH, which often feels pretty empty even when the resort is not, esp in that awkward midafternoon time when everyone's at the parks or the pool, Kona is empty, and Ohana, Tambu, and Trader Sam's aren't open yet.
keep this for your own record, might be only time can video an almost totally empty area in Disney World. but I am not sure we will ever recover from this.. until a vaccine is made.
