License plates: My husband made me a bird house with one for the roof. Windows: A friend made a little greenhouse out of them that looked much like that with a pitched roof. It was a display in her florist store. My cousin made a real greenhouse out of them.
The machine in the thumbnail looks like the adding machine I used in my first job in the middle '60s. Inventory control at a women's clothing store.

I loved the old switchboard but I don’t know how I would use it or display it but it was so neat!
My late husband collected South Carolina license plates. I have a 1923, 1924, 1925, 1926 and 1927. They are so cool! I just display them with other vintage items.

I was lucky enough to find old license plates at a garage sale in the years each of my children were born and also one for the year my husband and I were married. My son has them arranged in order in his garage.

Wow, that is a "for real" antique sale....so many things just about to turn into junk.....too bad you're on a road trip it would be a good one to visit tomorrow.
When i was in college i was phone operator for a job and we had a switch board just like that one. Memories!
My mama was a telephone operator and used that type of switchboard! Thank you for showing it! Cool!

We just sold an antique adding machine like the one you thought was a cash register for $200 on Etsy. Love that sale.

That was fun! The large furniture piece with the telephone plug-in lines was very cool. When I moved to Philadelphia in the late 60s, I got a part time job and had to use one of those. It was fun once I got the hang of how to use it correctly.
My daughter has those birthday girls all the way to 16. I used them for a cake decoration.
Love old head boards for the garden
When I was a tom boy in my youth, I put a state collection of lic. Plates on my wall. Also, there is some manufacture that makes a small shoulder purse out of lic. Plates. & belts out of seatbelts.

When I was little my grandpa & uncle had an old country store, they had a register pretty much like that first one you saw. I've collected several old hymnals and bibles. The bible date back to late 1800's- early 1900's..i just love my bibles😊 We have a bird house, the roof is made with a license plate. I'm obsessed with the cabinet made of windows.. gorgeous!!❤ I collect oil lamps and have lots of colored ones but I'm looking for an amber one. Lol you always find everything I'm looking for😄 you really did grab some cool pieces!

Good estate sales but think the prices were high. My husband and I rarely go to a first or second day one unless the newspaper says they have something we desperately want. Tomorrow we have three half price ones. My heart races. Lol. You got me into collecting old books. I loved the old calculated..called them something else ..don’t remember and the cash register and typewriters were cool. I have my dad’s old typewriter. ❤❤❤

I saw a woman who had a purse made from license plates (not rusty ones). They had holes punched along the edges & had been crocheted together. I don’t remember the handle looked like, though.

If you mean the piece on the corner of the table, that was a Camden NJ stapler. I collect them.
