For dry lips it is better to apply petroleum jelly at night and then gently remove the dead skin with a clean and wet, soft cloth or a tissue.. using lip scrubs might be too harsh for already dry and chapped lips
And yes after that you might apply a lip balm or lightly dab a pinky lipstick on your lips and then apply clear lip balm or petroleum jelly on top

nononono DO NOT USE petroleum jelly on dry lips. the best option is ghee.

DIY scrubs can cause adverse effects at times. The granules can damage the lips and worsen the condition. From my personal experience, I would suggest using a good quality organic lip balm and regular exfoliation with a lip brush. Petroleum jelly is a big no! Our lips are the gateway to our body in many ways. We often ingest what's in our lips so better to be careful with what we use. I've stopped using lipsticks and switched to tinted lip balms. Of all that I've tried, my current favorites are from The Lip Balm Company.

Can we use a simple white sugar instead of granulated sugar
Dermatologists dont recommend sugar srucbs so here is a Dermatologist aanchal's recommendation (my skin type)
I have a combination skin btw so lets get started-
1st clean ur hands and face
2nd apply rose water
3rd apply moisturizer (i use ponds super light gel its perfect!)
4th daek circles homemade cream recipe- patato juice and coffe beans apply for 5mins twice a week
Lip care now!!
1st wash lips with water
2nd apply coocnut oil for chapped n dry lips and for pigmentation
3rd apply a lip blam with spf if ur not in the sun for 25 to 30mins use spf 30 and if ur in the sun for a long time then use spf 50 (i recommend Derma co it was recommended by aancal :) di
Ur done!
Body care
1st use a moisturizing soap i use body wash -dove peach body wash or cucumber body wash from dove
2nd apply the same moisturizer on the face on ur feet,knees and ellbows (also the neck)
Then ur done!♡
