the DLC are out here! me and king of skill decided to play off in a fighters pass battle, with him playing as fighters pass 2 and me as fighters pass 1. I think i for sure got the bigger pick, im a huge fan of the first pass! Joker due to being the persona 5 rep, Piranha plant isn't fighters pass 1 technically but plant gang regardless, Terry is a masher and a half but still fun, Byleth is cool with the sword stuff going on, and then finally my boy Hero who is the RNG god himself! Banjo and Kazooie are the only ones who are... less than average in fun
fighters pass 2 in my opinion is less fun but more iconic. steve minecraft is the perfect example- super crazy that we have him in smash bros at all but i could not be more confused playing him. min min lowkey can be fun to play sometimes if i want to turn my brain off, but playing against her?? forget about it. Sephiroth is pretty cool ngl, both playing wise and character wise. Pyra and mythra are really fun imo due to being swordies, but i know a lot of people aren't a fan of playing against em lol (esp mythra). kazuya CHEATS and does way too much damage!! as someone who doesn't know how to do inputs he isn't as fun for me tbh- but clearly brent made him work here lol. and then finally sora, the newest smash bros ultimate dlc. he's a bit too floaty for my taste, not enough oomph to him either. feels very slow paced when i play him at least so im not really a big fan tbh
but overall the fighters pass and the smash bros dlc have been a blessing- 12 additional characters!! sakurai and his team have truly gone above and beyond with this, so take this vid as a final farewell to the smash dlc :)
