Oh dear that duvet and the mattress were awful, i have stayed there a couple of years back for two nights to be honest i can't remember much about it now so it cannot have been memorable.
Stayed at this hotel in 2021, in 214 on the second floor. Not a bad room or hotel, though the bar prices were astronomically high. Seems quite busy in the bar given that it's December time.
That room looks ok.but the flashing light and cigarette smell would put me off.looking at the bigger picture.it looks a decent hotel but needs ABIT more tlc spent on it.dident like the look of the mould and damp walls.worth the money good value
Definitely needs some money spendin on it these okd buildings look lovely but they just either not gettin any money to spend on them or being greedy and smackin it in their pocket!!!! Sad really cuz they are magnificent buildings Nah I would not stop there Hapoy Christmas 😊 till the next one 😊
Stayed in Savoy 27th to 30 th dec ,first night had to change room wind blowing through window frames, bar area had a drink sat 10 minutes cold very little heating, dining room chilly
Me and my partner booked a double room with a sea view, went into the room there was 5 single beds and a brick wall no sea view , so we left I would never go there again 😊

floor 3 is where smoking rooms are or was when we stayed 2 years ago. only hotel chain i know that allows smoking in rooms and as an ex smoker it reeks. the rest of the hotel wasn't too bad considering. They have recently changed this hotel to adult only now.
@@johnrobertson8263 in what way? if people want to smoke they can go outside to do it. There’s no need to make an entire hotel floor stink. How are ex smokers the issue in that scenario. It’s a public establishment not their own home. If the hotel want to allow smoking, great but it should be made clear upon booking which are smoking allowed room/floor so others can choose to avoid it if they wish.

Norbreck castle hotel did better than this no wonder people were moaning about this hotel was also used by caledonian travellers were moaning and moaning glad we didn't get this we went Norbreck Castle hotel wasn't all that but theve Done some work and put new furniture in and just heard it will be closed in January 2024 for 3mths refurbishment hope its better soon
Well that’s not good but for a real filthy experience you need to visit the Scarisbrick hotel at Southport I think that one is the Britannia flag ship of disgusting hotels, Choice hotels seem to be adopting the same tactics of no care wringing the last few quid out of theses ageing old lady’s before they crumble into a full state of disrepair, such a shame.

Weve been to the norbreck a few times and found it very good for the money if noisy at the weekends.😮

No smoking is allowed but don't stop guests doing it when shouldn't
