One thing I really appreciated seeing was the "working with your hands" job these guys were doing. You're highlighting small business, hard work, and sucess. I think it honors and brings awarness to this industry and this type of labor. These guys were working hard... enjoy that beer. Well deserved.
I can tell you from first-hand working along side some of these guys that they bust their butts...and here's the thing...Brian is VP of Construction for Aquascape (28 years there) and he is the first to start and the last to quit! Every one of the contractors that came out for this build are not only some of the best artists in the world, but also some of the hardest working - and not just in terms of being down in the dirt...most of them ALSO go through a lot of effort to create content - much of which is of benefit to OTHER contractors, as it often shows tips and techniques. I'm SO lucky and proud to be part of this #tribe, and there's NO way I'd be as good at what I do if THESE guys weren't as good at what THEY do, and SHARED it.
You guys are giving Aquascape the ultimate commercial! This is fascinating to watch! Even before water it all looks so natural now that they have placed the rocks and tree pieces. They are definitely artists!

The vision these guys have is amazing! Seeing all the rocks, I had no idea they were mostly going IN the pond! And when Greg was giving the tour of the day's work, the placement of all of the rocks looked so natural. Just amazing talent and artistry!

Maintaining a property like this is much more work than most of us would invite into our lives. We can all live vicariously through Laura and Aaron! When the guys were carrying the liner I got an image from my past (the 70’s). It was all the dwarfs as they headed off to work singing Heigh Ho. I giggled about if for a little bit and it was much needed so thanks guys for bring joy to my day!❤❤❤ By the way you guys are really hard workers and move out. Super impressive.
This is so awesome! The 7 dwarf song from Snow White played in my head when that fabulous crew was lugging the liners. It is so fun to watch Brian's vision for your project come together. It amazes me how quickly they got this done.
Okay for those of you who were saying that Laura will just get rid of this pond like she did the other one I beg to differ. 3500 pound rocks!!! This one will not be easy to disassemble. Loving every minute of this and then some. What a bunch of great people to work with.

That looks like such an absolute blast!! I put a small pond in my backyard 3 years ago with the help of my adult children, with all stuff given to me. It has been the best decision. Love to drink coffee in the morning and watch the waterfall and fish, as well as evenings to relax. I'm so happy that you get to have this awesome display and can't wait to see it with all the plants!!
The scale of this seems perfect. A smaller pond going into your property would have felt so unnatural and contrived. This looks believable and lovely. I’m so excited to see how this changes your whole landscape- the new insects that will be drawn in, the birds, the cooling sound of water, all those wonderful evergreens and larger trees filling in. It will be such an oasis!
I am so excited to see Laura opening up to “enhancing” the topography of their landscape. We do that with every tree and plant we put in the ground. There’s so much interest added with little elevated areas and steps down into a secluded spot. And then, surprise, a gorgeous pond!

I really like the drone POV, very cool. You know those rocks are heavy when the truck puts out balance feet to off load them! How rewarding to be part of such a large and well oiled team, all working together to create something amazing!
Love seeing it all! BEAUTIFUL already!! Favorite was the marching team with the sound of the gravel under foot carrying the heavy tarp in hand!! (PS. this all puts reality tv to shame!! Ponds can become super addictive, we now have two.! Watching these artist at work is always a special treat. The most amazing part is what happens after they leave, you’ll spend more time than you realize sitting by the pond. We spend every a majority of our time by our ponds, this looks amazing. First off I want to say how blessed y'all are to have Greg The Turtle Guy oops, lol, I mean The Pond Guy...lol and Brian of Team Aquascape there and the crew helping...Oh My Goodness, how blessed to have these AMAZING artist of the year. WOW! Alan Decker, Dan Harp and John G Adams are top notch pond builders. What they create is always stunning! These men have so much talent as well as all the others there. I am sure there are faces I just haven't really seen yet but I have watched these specific guys for years now and know them from not even seeing their faces. Y'all have incredible talent working on the one thing that is going to make the biggest impact in your lives. God bless 😊
When the guys were carrying the liner I got an image from my past (the 70’s). It was all the dwarfs as they headed off to work singing Heigh Ho. I giggled about if for a little bit and it was much needed so thanks guys for bring joy to my day!❤❤❤ By the way you guys are really hard workers and move out. Super impressive.

This is an amazing project. One of my favorite things about it is the business side of it. You guys, with your huge and loyal following, are providing an incredible platform for each of these local businesses to go home and produce “see what we can do for you” marketing. You’re supporting local businesses, communities and families. You will have so much more than a beautiful pond to be proud of!

That looks like such an absolute blast!! I put a small pond in my backyard 3 years ago with the help of my adult children, with all stuff given to me. It has been the best decision. Love to drink coffee in the morning and watch the waterfall and fish, as well as evenings to relax. I'm so happy that you get to have this awesome display and can't wait to see it with all the plants!!

The scale of this seems perfect. A smaller pond going into your property would have felt so unnatural and contrived. This looks believable and lovely. I’m so excited to see how this changes your whole landscape- the new insects that will be drawn in, the birds, the cooling sound of water, all those wonderful evergreens and larger trees filling in. It will be such an oasis!

I am so excited to see Laura opening up to “enhancing” the topography of their landscape. We do that with every tree and plant we put in the ground. There’s so much interest added with little elevated areas and steps down into a secluded spot. And then, surprise, a gorgeous pond!

I really like the drone POV, very cool. You know those rocks are heavy when the truck puts out balance feet to off load them! How rewarding to be part of such a large and well oiled team, all working together to create something amazing!

Thank you for taking us on your pond journey! The pond is beautiful already and it is not even finished. Please reconsider making it a "secret garden" because it needs to be seen. Especially when you sit in the Hartley and you could have a wonderful view of the pond and waterfall!

Ponds can become super addictive, we now have two.! Watching these artist at work is always a special treat. The most amazing part is what happens after they leave, you’ll spend more time than you realize sitting by the pond. We spend every a majority of our time by our ponds, this looks amazing. I’m so excited for you and your family.
