I feel like everyone is slowly starting to realize that their natural hair colour looks the best! Don’t get me wrong I’ve changed my hair colour SO MANY TIMES, but I’ve recently come back to my natural colour and honestly I’m loving it! Love the dark colour and I don’t think the red is too much!

The dark hair is EVERYTHING girl!! Do it permanently! I went darker to my natural color and my hair has never been longer and healthier. It does make you look more sophisticated which might attract a more sophisticated man ya know. 😜 love your vids!!!

Tara! You should take a seasonal color palette quiz if you haven't already. It helps you determine what colors you should wear based on your skin tone/hair color /eye color. It's literally been life changing for me! I am a cool summer so when I wear Teals and muted blues, my eyes literally pop and match my outfits! It's magical. Also, i'm a huge fan of your dark hair! You can pull off any color though.
THE HAIR LOOKS INCREDIBLE, I 100% agree with what your mom said, it looks sophisticated, it is enhancing your facial features, it is just beautiful! And I say that although at the same time I love your look with blond hair so much as well.

Your point on personal style really hit as someone who turned 30 last year. For me it’s learning to find a balance between personal style and being stylish, if that makes sense. Like maybe a certain style ‘era’ doesn’t fit my personal style but what can I incorporate so I still feel stylish but also like myself. 30s are a finding myself era! Loving the content!

I used to be the same as you, always dying my hair blonde and keeping up with it. I’m a natural brunette and I LOVE that I’m back to natural, and I don’t get bored AT ALL. Everyone time the seasons change or I go on holiday it glows a different way, either rich brown in the winter or pretty light bits in the summer. You won’t regret going back to natural!

One thing I’ve learned to figuring out my personal style, is to not keep up with the trends! That way I’m not wasting time keeping up and wasting cash. Look through old photos and see what is your consistent style!

I think you should invest and get it done at the salon once the brown washes out! If you get it done professionally, it can be dark but still have dimension (lowlights, highlights, whatever)!! Whereas box dye is going to just make it one flat color! And maybe if it has more dimension you won’t get bored of it too quickly! And I feel like you’d look great with golden undertones instead of red undertones.

I actually really like the tones that the mask gave! If you go to a salon, they could easily build on what you have now and ash it out for you. Or at least make it neutral instead of warm. I personally love the warm brown with your skin tone!!

I really really really recommend the Kristen Ess hair gloss!! You do it yourself, at home, it’s easy! But it’s so hydrating, makes my hair shine, and is the best temp color I’ve used

Honestly, the dark hair is looking so so so good!! naturally is an adjustment but it already looks healthier and richer. I think that more than a solid brown you could go for some chocolate with caramel subtle highlights if you end up going to the salon, so the transition is smoother. But as your mom said, much more sophisticated. Gor for it!!
Whenever/if ever you get bored of the dark hair you could just mix in some blonde clip in extensions to brighten it up! Loveee the dark though!

As someone that just went back dark from being blonder too, If you want the dark, go to a professional! My stylist was able to make my hair a neutral chocolate brown and my highlights underneath just create dimension. I hate red undertones too and I don't have any of that. Box dye just makes it so much harder to go lighter again if you want.
