SO interesting to listen technically to his singing (haven't also heard him live), and he's a REALLY nice man. But do we go to the opera JUST to experience nice people? Honestly, he seems so uninvolved emotionally in what's going on. Isn't this aria the moment Macbeth shows his madness? Well, where is it from Tezier? He's singing it like he's doing scales in a practise room, just checking he's doing it well. You can almost see him listening to himself rather than listening to his emotions. No change in his face from one phrase to the next, and he's heralded as one of the world's best since he sings in all the top houses in the big rep. I don't think so, vocally, Amartuvshin is leagues better. Dramatically, Alvarez is leagues ahead also.
Ich bin immer wieder begeistert von Ludovic Tezier ! So eine kraftvolle schöne Stimm! Einfach ergreifend und schön.
Una gran bella voce di baritono! Bravo, bravo, bravo. ❤

Also here are so many noises so close to the microphone.
Is the recorder so nervious?
