If you have the time and like doing things like that, why not. The storage box looks nice although not overwhelmingly nice. But.the material you use costs about 10 $. You can buy a nice storage box at the dollar shop for 2.45$.
I appreciate your perspective, but everyone has different preferences when it comes to budget and style. It took me under $10 to make it, and I think for a medium storage box, $10 (Canadian Dollar) is not a bad price. Even the plain cardboard boxes at IKEA are more than $5. Personally, I find the box aesthetically pleasing, fitting my style, and I have not come across similar options for $2.45 at the dollar stores I have visited. If those align with your expectations, that’s perfectly okay, everyone has their preferences. Also, something handmade is always unique and has a personal touch, adding to its value.
