His health wasnt declining. He passed of an Acute Subdural Hematoma. There is two types. Chronic and Acute. Chronic is when a collection of blood builds up in the skull that puts pressure on the brain but it happens and heals but a bump to the head could open it back up. But an Acute is caused by a hit to the head. Maybe a fall or slip in the tub, and getting up thinking "im fine" and going about your day and pass in your sleep.

And I have been an avid fan of all things anime ever since. But it never would have started without dragon ball. I may just name my next son Akira, because my wife would never let me name him Goku Or Toriyama, rip Akira Toriyama. As an Artist and Dragon Ball Artist myself man Id love to have one of Toryiamas Drawing Pens, To think of what this man made and the impact it had on whole World all deriving from Pen by his hand its very inspiring ngl, Im not gunna say I havnt made my own Story and often thought about trying to draw it out in Comic or Manga purely inspired by Dragon Ball…
To think of what Toryiama and a Pen n Paper led to, Im an artist and still Comic/Manga seems tough enough to keep me from Starting my own but perhaps someday, Likely wont matter, So many Comics/Mangas done by people nowadays starting one myself likely wouldnt lead to much regardless of how well story may be fleshed out, Still Toryiamas Pens and Pencils are truly priceless treasures in todays world, Toryiamas impact on this world was so immeasurable that his passing is proving even more so immeasurably heartbreaking to people all over the world, I hope that hes resting peacefully after pushing himself mentally for so long to provide us with Dragon Ball weve all come to love so much, But at least he enjoyed what he did, Truly wont ever be another like him…

Been watching the OG since I was a fucking freshman I think. Love you brother! Always will. Rip Akira toriyama. If it wasn’t for him our childhoods wouldn’t def not have been as awesome. And I would have never spent all those years watching geekdom. Till the very end brothers ❤❤

My only regret is not being able to go to San Diego Comic Con or even one in Japan while Toriyama was still around...for someone you rarely see, it's amazing the kind of presence he had in all of our homes across the world. Head still hurts from breaking down and crying, remembering all the times I would sneak and stay up late to watch toonami/DBZ growing up 😢 Rest easy, Toriyama 🙏🏽 Thank you Geekdom for being real with us and respectful to his memory, i think some people are being too quick with thinking about what comes next now that he's gone rather than honoring his legacy, we need to heal first and think about the future of DBZ/DBS/Daima layer 😔

He gave me permission to do a fan fiction I made with my fam back in high school. I saved that tweet. Trying to battlerap and do music along with battling health had been ugh. I went shopping back in January and brought dbz house shoes that eventually sold out after the Rangers won the world series. I made the drafts for the fan fiction and everything. His passing sparked a flame in me where I didn't cry, but I sat in silence. I had my rap battle this past weekend and did a quick tribute bar in honor of him. Your channel has been a blessing. Long live Sensei 🙏🏿👑🕊️. Salute everyone. - JP.

this take care of yourself and each other hits different, the emotions these last few days still seem so unreal to me i don't think its fully hit me yet but i know it will, but take care of yourself too it is important, been really thinking about what Toriyama from what we knew of his works what message he might want to convey to the world now through his work and i and i'm pretty sure others have as well think of certain master roshi quote right now " "Always remember these words: Work hard, study well, and eat and sleep plenty! That is the Turtle Hermit way!" gist of it it anyway i think it fits the needing to take care of ourselves but remember to push forward.

Welp, there goes a huge section of my childhood gone from this life. The impact that this man had on a young kid from the hood like myself and millions of others, will forever be stamped within the history books. No artist has ever touched the hearts and the minds of young kids in such a positive manner like Toriyama did. Its not even close.
He was the first and he was the greatest. I'm talkin bout young kids who have become grown men today who went on to do serious time in the pen were even impacted by this man's unmatched work. Don't let the tough guy acts fool u. We all loved DBZ when we were kids. Watched it on Toonami like it was a religious ceremony. U got some of the hardest rappers to this date who have dropped DBZ bars in there music, that's how much of an influence he was to us.
I had to make it clear that it isn't just the prototypical, mainstream, suburban demographic that loved his artistry, those of us on the other side of the tracks did too.
Fly high on ur Nimbus cloud Toriyama!

We lost a legend way too soon, and it’s really sad.
I may make another one honestly, but I made a tribute video in loving memory of him. That’ll be coming out tomorrow.
It’s not perfect, but did the best I could with what I had for now.
