It's probably dumb, but I'm trying to trade otm Ford (or something else that's cheap with decent volume) options that are less than $10 ($0.10) just to figure out how things work. I'm putting a low limit price just to test the waters, so I'm not sure they'll get filled. It seems like a good way to figure out what I'm doing, but I don't 100% know what I'm doing so I could be just throwing a few dollars away, which is fine I guess. Would this be a good way to figure things out, or should I just go straight into SPY options with better odds or something? I'd rather not risk $300 when I'm still learning though.

Luckily for me, I partnered with Mr Charles Alen investing services to help simplify the process and ensures lucrative income on a perfect risk management.

Wow, I started out wrong I guess. I used less than a $1k and bought a 100 shares of a decent company and started selling cover calls. I found one company that announced it had a offer of $8 a share and was selling. It dropped down to $5 a few weeks later and I bought a couple of hundred. It sold a month later as it advertised. I still like cover calls and cash secured puts. Owning the underlying is always safer option.
@InTheMoney . Thanks for the offer. The situation above was a few years ago. Right now I need to get rid of my margin account at $9k I have against on $32k of securities. That will be done at the end of this month after I sell shares that I’ve own for over a year. I have to wait to avoid several hundred dollars tax on capital gains. Once I have a $0 margin I’m really interested in learning more in trading options than I’m doing now. Your videos are a great source.

I was thinking of just buying a cheap etf that’s worth like $10 and buy 100 shares and do a covered call on it. Too optimistic or?
If It wasn't for the hair change i would have thought you just sat back down lol
I think trading spreads is probably a good idea to start.
I blew up my account and now I have 9 bucks left. Is there anyway I can come back from this without depositing more?
Came to this realization today! I bought my first option yesterday on a volatile stock with only $200, and the profits I made was only $10. But I could've made more by actually buying the stock rather than the option. So I'm taking your advice and pivoting to paper traded till I have more capital to make more profit off of options. Thank you for your videos!
so like im brand new ive been putting about 50-100 in a week and just letting it sit, i want to learn how to atleast look at the option trading on robinhood but I dont have it, i emailed them and they havent responded yet but I was wondering, how exactly do you apply for it on robinhood I cant find it anywhere!?
"The bid ass spread." lmao!
Lmao is that what I heard
Could scalp naked options close to expiration that are cheap using tasty trade cash account
So my SPY 4/17 200P I bought Friday morning was a bad idea? YOLO!
U never kno with this market
Youre gonna make mad tendies. Did you not see the dump yesterday last minute lol
Quang Tran Monday morning markets are going to be green son!
@@Ktrann24 I have been making mad tendies on OTM spy puts and calls like crazy for a month. I went from $400 to $38,000 in 5 weeks. I posted it on Reddit. OTM options are killing it in this market. Just make sure you take profit every week.
Mark Price that’s great!! how did u do it?? I know a lot of people have made huge gains during this volatile market. How do I find your post on Reddit?

Trading Bitcoin is a good business one can think of doing
Yes you're right, Bitcoin is a good business
If you ask me, I think Bitcoin has something big for the world but having a good mentor is the best
Stocks are good crypto is better
I wanted to trade crypto but I got confused by the fluctuation in price
What about paper trading while you try and save up a bit more money. Think or Swim with TD Ameritrade allows that option.
@Claus Smith Los Angeles, CA US
Thanks for making this video that I finally understand the options trading. options trading has really transform a lot of people, making money make me live a luxury life and give my family the best.
That is why I have to start forex trading two month ago now am making constant profit from it.
bitcoin trading is one good way of paying bills which also create opportunity for crypto believers.
I'm new to trading and my presumption is that I'll be needing an expert to guild one through. But I'm a bit curious about getting one.

"you tell them how it felt" LMAO
Nice video. So once u have 10K what strategy would you suggest?
New to investing and I had over a 6% gain on my first day, I'm upset I never got into investing earlier in life but better late then never
same
@carlos blandino a lot of times in life you have to be ready for the situation
I started with my first option “Lilly “, $400 and turned it into $560. Through my studies the key is don’t be greedy. I love Adams training videos
@@wolffco7 exactly don't be greedy, every little bit adds up over time
I play poker and I've thought of the poker analogy soo many times when thinking about stocks so to hear u say it was incredibly cool
dude I just came across your channel and i'm obsessed. god what an amazing channel
I did something on one and doubled my profit and have no idea what I did lol 🤦🏼♀️ so today there is a stock that’s $30 & in the trade options there is a buy price at $17.50 and put at $180 my guts telling me if I do that I’m going to lose $180 am I way off or right ?
So, you talked about using $200, then better to start with $1000.
I was pulling my hair out as some other RUclipsr was saying a minimum of 5K, but much better with 20K if not, you will struggle if it's less.
I was thinking of opening up with 2K.
Thanks for the advice, oh yes I'll be practicing night and day with paper money.
Thanks again.
My guy you always teach me something new. Any books you recommended ?
Thanks for the info. I'm only a few weeks new and have about $500 in and doing just what you said. I'm starting to explore and learn options and was asking myself that same question, should I toss loot at options and you answered it. I'll build, research more on it then give it a go. Thanks again
Can anyone recommend me which are the best books available in order to trade options ? I have a PHD in Economics so I am looking for a book with strong mathematical and econometrician content. Thank you
Man this is such a great, quick video (and channel) for new traders. I will be pointing people here from now on. Keep it up!
Thank you!
is there a way to make a spread (buy and sell a put) on one transaction? or do you have to do 2 different orders?
Have them execute at the same time. If they are part of the same order, they will be one transaction.
Best way to trade options with less than $1,000: Don’t.
Why? I put my first ever $150 into robinhood and turned it into $600 in 1 day. Bought 1 FRX $20 call expiring 3/19. Made $450 in profit and sold it 1 day later. I got out before the stock jumped off the cliff. Its a gamble but YOLO. NO RISK NO RARRI
😂😂😂😂literally
@@xyzcantcme8775 Sooooo.... That's a fucking lie
can you sell premium in a cash account?
I would rather use HyperionTrust
Do you ever actually invest in comanies or do you just day trade off the algo's all the time?
companies
"That's a lot of ramen"
How long till expiration when buying a spread? 1 week or 1 month? What's best? Thanks!
Trading on small or large account sizes depends on your level of commitment, the risk are always there. From a personal experience it’s an awful and psychological torture to get profitable. Maintaining a middle balance between fear and greed, because being one or the other will lead to losses. Luckily for me, I partnered with Mr Charles Alen investing services to help simplify the process and ensures lucrative income on a perfect risk management.
Nice try with the ad, still not happening tho
What does charles Alen do for you Tony?
Joey Arthur Zooberry I hope it get to you in good faith.
I’ve seen investors make the same mistakes every single time and most losses counts for years because it’s your hard earned money.
John there is so much to be uncover while trading assets, I’ve had both ups and downs while growing in experience but it is safe and more rewarding to trust professionals to handle your tradings. More presenting exposure to certain favorable trading assets has been incorporated on my portfolio since I partnered with a fund manager.
Another great vid man. You have lived up to being consistent on RUclips so now you can start that podcast!
The trading simulator on investopedia has options trading. You can practice options trading with 0 real risk.
No fun. Gamble
