As a plumber I just want to say that if that is a gas water heater, u really want to get Lego away from it. The heat that comes off of those makes the pipes (that r meant for it) brittle as heck so one can only imagine what time will do to plastic that isn't meant to be around heat. Just trying to help
Ooh interesting. Appreciate the tip! I can maybe slide it over more or put something between it like a barrier but I’m pushing max capacity in the space right now 🫠
I had that dragon wagon as a kid. Along with majisto's workshop and LOVED THEM. I also has all the ice planet sets which i used to make X-wings before Lego ever had StarWars sets
At least for minifigs, I've been dividing by categories, like SW, Ninjago, Super hero, and other. And using a card storage box you can get pretty cheap at any Gaming store in your area, the ones with 5 or 6 row boxes from BCW normally, Using index cards to make dividers. Great for CMF as well. Are you going to order a case of the new CMF with wolfpack from planetfuntoys? comes out less than $4 a fig.
Oh yeah I’ve seen people using card storage boxes. That’s a good idea. I should look into that. Can’t be that expensive. Also yeah I hope to get some of the Wolfpack for my collection and custom builds but not sure I want to fork over the cash for a bunch of figs I don’t want even though I could put them up in the store. I’ll have to think about it. That Wolfpack fig is gonna get scooped up so quickly
Great content as usual! Had a couple thoughts about your experience so far that I'd be curious to hear your thoughts on: how much time are you soending each day to add items to the BL store? How are you balancing the store + purchases + videos + building + inventory? Given the proliferation of BAM stores in the Metro - are you seeing any challenges with finding things to buy? I think you have a great adaptive attitude. Things are constbstly changing for us too. We had one sorting system for a year but had to change because of part volume. The "new" system works more efficient now but 6 months ago it wasnt necessary. Being willing to change/adapt is important...
Hey Walt! I gotta be honest, I fit it all in where I can. Live-streaming on Twitch is my main day job and also being primary caregiver for my daughter 2 days a week while my wife is working. All this happens around all that. It’s all an expanding hobby right now and I’m trying to just have fun with it and do the things within the hobby that make me happy. Some days I spend 3 hours working on various Lego stuffs (lately it’s been mostly Bricklink focused) some days I spend 15 minutes! Kinda just depends. I can’t really dedicate formally scheduled time for it so it’s all happening as the remaining parts of my day I have available.
I honestly cruise marketplace here and there but I have so much Lego to go through already so mostly I’m trying to keep purchases to Minifigs since they take up less room and are easier to plug in right away. But it’s super hit and miss. Not sure I can say if BAM has affected my searches at all since they were trickling in as I started doing this.
"I'm anticipating I'm going to have to do a lot of changes..." yes. Yes you will.
Yeeeeeeep. It’s like you can see the train coming in the distance but you’re still hanging out on the tracks saying “I still got a few minutes”

ah the classic space issue. Am very familiar with it. Now time for Lego to take over your whole house
Hmmm not sure my family is ready for that 😜

Oh good idea! That would be so interesting to see how people made Star Wars before there was Star Wars!
It took me a good minute to understand where the Lego Abraham Lincoln figure came from.. hahahah
Apparently the Lego movie which I saw once however many years ago that was now!
