Ohhh got a case of the GoodGood Golf balls eh? I saw they made it to the USGA Conforming list - send me a sleeve and I'll test them out in my simulator for you guys 😇 Huge respect for filming the editing process, it is really cool to see that and we enjoy the insight!
The hard work you and Max have done in the editing process has not gone unnoticed and the quality of the content is First Class. I always like seeing the gf make an appearance in your videos. It keeps it real.
You and Max are on another level with your editing. You two are the ones that have changed RUclips golf. You set a standard that other channels have to try and keep up with. You are as big a part of Good Good as any of the other guys.
Colin, you and Max are the heartbeat of Good Good. Thank you so much for your talents with camera work, editing, and graphics. Keep up the great work! and know you are appreciated by so many out here.
It’s insane you do all that editing on a labtop in a van. You would never guess that with how good the good good videos are edited. You and Max are the unsung heroes of their channel. Incredible job guys! 👍
You guys have such a great team and "support" system along for the ride - literally and figuratively! - as this video shows! We are all so lucky that (no matter what Grant asks to have cut out - or actually does get edited out) we get to watch and live through the process and banter so real time with you - which is not scripted, professional acting, or way over-the-top 'reality' type TV ... but just good, honest wholesome fun with golf then encapsulated thru the eyes of Colin and Max... who are not only doing the editing after the fact, but all that filming on the course (!) - while only getting to hit the occasional celeb swing. Keep it up and I hope there is money being made by all of you that is comensurate with the quality of output and time and energy invested/spent!
Bro your song choices are litterally my exact songs in my playlist. everysingle one. Actually insane. Fantastic taste in music. Love your skills and all the work you put in is showing!!!
GREAT JOB! This was so interesting to see. This Is easily the most under appreciated facet of RUclips videos. The real stars of the show are the ones doing the job you are! Thank you!
Yall are beast mode and make it very easy to enjoy and watch the golf. Graphics are always on point. The "pros" should be taking notes. Thank you team GG!
Bro I can’t even fathom the effort that goes into these videos. I did a hard edit with a lot of edits / graphics for an 8 minute video and it took me 9 hours 😂 you are next level 🔥
Colin you remind me of myself, back in my hay day, when I was a crew chief on a IMCA dirt race car. We are the unknown, the unseen, and the ones that make it all come together to be number one. Great job on the major.
Colin, for you work flow and struggle for space for a second monitor, I have a suggestion. Obviously not much space, but something I’ve been looking at for myself is getting the Ten One Design Mountie + and using an iPad as a second monitor for the mac. The Mountie+ basically clips onto the side or top of your MacBook screen and then allows you to clip the edge of your iPad to the other side of the mount. You can then extend your display to your iPad as a second monitor and clip the iPad to whatever edge of your MacBook makes most sense. If you don’t have a ton of horizontal space, then clip it to the top and have your two monitors vertical. The iPad as the second monitor is nice so you won’t need any extra cords for the setup keeping it clean and minimal and the Mountie+ provided the same convenience of not needing a large stand to hold the iPad and take up space. Look it up and do your own research of course but it looks like a great option for the limited space in the van! Loved the content from GG and it wouldn’t be the same without all the production and post you and Max provide and of course Luis as well with extra angles! The drone shots in the major were unreal 👊🏻
I like the group split up, I think it makes it easier to follow the holes and watching the 2nd group play a hole right after the other guys really helps get a feel for how the hole plays .
I found two groups easier to follow, also made it feel more like an actual with the groups. Loved the 2 groups in the 18 hole scramble as well, again it made it seem more like an actual competition. Loved the whole Good Cup, amazing work by all involved
I've said it before, the behind the scenes crew is what separates Good Good from everyone else. The production makes it better than watching normal TV, which is why I think you all will continue to grow. Nice work fellas.
I hope you get enough appreciation man. I always think how you are the eyes of everyone that has ever watched and gotten hooked on Good Good. So if you don’t get enough praise, you are the man! Keep up all the hard work through the long hours. I appreciate you and everyone else behind the scenes.
Massive respect for your work from a recent Good Good fan from Scotland. I’ve yet to watch a game of golf on tv that had me hooked like the Good Good Cup. You guys all smashed it!👏
One big group! Also loved when Matt topped his drive on the par 5 and for his second shot it said he had like 890yds! Love the little funny things you guys add in!
Colin you are the GOAT. Thank you for all the hard work. Other notes: please give us a van tour (I am looking at buying), and for the majors I like both ways with them as a whole group but probably preferred this broken up set up a little bit.
i like when everyone plays together and when there’s two groups, so i like that you guys mix it up. i wouldn’t want it to be the same EVERY time. also, y’all killed it as always!!!!
I have to say I really enjoyed this short video, beautiful California coast and an insight on how you cope with a massive project and keep sane. Congratulations on all you and you team accomplish. The content is superb and the enjoyment factor immense.👍
For both viewer experience as well as the sanity of you and max it maybe easier and more enjoyable to edit it so that the next Good Good Cup and even just the next Good Good major play the first 9 with two group of 3 (first group being the bottom 3 finishers at the pervious major and second group being the top 3) then at the turn on 9 treat it like a new day in a PGA event where it is reseeded so the bottom 3 first group now becomes the 3 highest scores on that current major. I.E. In the good good cup Matt finished 4th so he’d be in the first group to start but if after 9 he’s -2 and Garrett is E then Garrett moves to the first group and Matt moves to the second. If scores are tied at 9 then the second group becomes every one 1-T3 so then it could potentially be a 2 man first group and 4 man second group but that way the final 9 holes you can watch the guys who are struggling play the hole and get a feel for it then watch the top 4 compete against each other on the same hole. (If it somehow ends up w a group of 5 1-T3 then play it as one big group) but that way we can watch them compete against each other and if someone struggles the front 9 and moves to the first group 1. The second group will know what they shot and how low they need to go and it creates the drama of guys finishing low and waiting to see what happens like the twigs when Kwon made that putt to win it. Just a suggestion that I think would be fun to watch and also may make editing easier
You guys did an unbelievable job I’ve barely ever noticed any mistakes. Out of all the content throughout this series it is crazy how well scheduled and how well edited it was. I do remember on mistake I saw in the GoodGood Cup. I will post the time stamp once I find it again in car you would like to change it. 1:56:58 of the GoodGood Cup Garrett was hitting a 8 iron and the graphic said 1733 yards when it should be 173. Of course you guys obviously did an amazing job and there is no need for you to change it unless you want to.
It was well worth the wait for the final product! Video and editing was on point! As much as I enjoyed watching the 7play at once in the UK, definitly prefer how the 2 groups of 3 flowed for watching purposes. You don't forget what shot the player hit previously as I found happened when all 7 played at once. Both videos were awesome though! Keep up the sick work filming and editing boys!
I think playing as a big group is awesome. I would've liked to see how Garrett and Luke would have dialed it in even more when they know what they need to shoot to win. The UK major was intense when Grant and Micah knew what the other person was at. Awesome job Colin!
Colin the graphics are really great and critical to the viwer's experience, I really do like the "upper-right" that tells me exactly the situation. It does seem like it would be a huge pain, but I think it's a huge value add. Well done!
This could be a controversial idea because the boys are so supportive of one another. But at the turn if the bottom half aren’t within five shots of the leader, there’s a “cut “and those players become caddies. I loved the UK content because they paired them up and got to caddy for one another playing Rick. Some great content!
@@Whoneedscableanymore the non scratch golfers should be playing off their handicaps in 18 hole stroke play. Bubble, Steve and to a lesser extent matt have no chance of winning off level against luke, grant and garrett.

As a filmmaker myself, it is not lost on me how much of your life you put into these videos. Each one of these videos should be looked back on with fond memories. You have done an amazing job, and just when I think the videos couldn’t get any better, they do. Much love my friend. Man, I really hope we get to work together, someday.
Firstly, i wanted to say you’re incredibly talented and your work is amazing… i also wanted to make note of other comments i agreed with- it would have been so cool to see kwon and garrett battling it out together. still, i enjoyed the layout of the major being two groups of three, maybe in the future you guys could do a match where everyone plays blind of each other’s score? i’m sure someone could find a way to improve that idea. Last, do you golf at all? have you ever played with the guys? maybe make that a video! good luck, best wishes in your career
The 3 v3 group editing is great. It's super easy to follow. Allows for in-between shot banter. It kinda reminds me of the "featured groups" on the PGA.
I love all the content. I really liked the one where young James ran up and said can I play with you. They said yes and it turned into one of the best videos.

Super fun video! I’m 30 minutes from Pebble and stoked you took time to hang out in Carmel! Bring it! Loving all of the content. Also really appreciated the extra graphics in the GG Cup
Colin, the graphics and tracers and effects are so great! I love it! Feels like im watching a PGA Tour event with all the info and graphics you put up! Keep up the hard work!😎⛳

Totally agree. Garrett was thinking eagle the whole way on 18, not knowing he was actually tied with Luke.
I like the separate groups, but it would be cool if the groups were allowed to know where the competition is at so they can play the holes accordingly
The graphics in the corner to keep score and tell us the distance, club, hole, shot is awesome. You’re good at what you do
