That's a time period in Star Wars that I'd like to see you revisit. A dark age, not only due to the dominance of the Siths, but also due to the technological and cultural setback resulting from the continuous wars. For me, the Dark Underlord is just a Sith that became very powerful, this is one of those cases where it is better not to know much.
A "Padawan"... Named....Yoda.. Am I the only one that caught that at the end??? Seems like at one point Yoda, was A giga Jedi in the making too. An what a possible alternate reality Grandmaster of the Orthodox Jedi Order Anakin Skywalker COULDA become had we not got the franchise we did
If I were in a chair when I heard that, I’d have flipped backwards in it! You hear of Sith apprentices going toe-to-toe with Jedi Masters, but man is it impressive when a Jedi Padawan defeats seasoned Sith!
In a Galaxy far, far away has a lot of dark secrets that are yet to be revealed and there are many creatures or entities that do not lie in either the Jedi or Sith, and perhaps this Underlord was a creature of the force that took the form of a Sith to feed in the growing darkness in the New Sith Wars.
I'd like you guys to make a bestiary type of playlist covering many non-sentient life forms in the SW galaxy, seeing that you recently did a video on the Terrantatek
Maybe the DU was Malgus, and he switched to solid blades and sometimes two of them because, being undead, it was the best way for him to feel alive, or to feel anything at all.
Here's a idea I thought, what if the Clone Wars was a war between th3 Republic and the Sith with Palpatine just like he did in the franchise, runs both sides of the war and gained the sith incredible power and territory
If the Black Knights survived to the time of the Clones Wars instead, will Palpatine have Dooku installed as the puppet leader of the organization and use them as controlled opposition instead of the Separatists Alliance? Or he will have them intergrated as part of the Separatists Droid Army instead because of the need to destroy the Separatists before they become a threat to his Galactic Empire?
We really need more ghosts doing covert and influential roles in the galaxy and the rest of the Multiverse, I'll add... though one can say that they're already doing such that, which explains the covert part. Same with reincarnation.
I mean, the idea of a being 'living' on past death is inherently a dark side power. Being a Sith doesn't make it impossible to learn that power as most would assume. Marka Ragnos I think, one of the old Sith Lords did so a few times on Yavin, and in their tombs. Ajjunta Pall also lingered on Koriban. The thing about sith ghosts is the fact that they're extremely rare. Even when they are around, they're usually confined to their resting place. They can also instill their spirit in objects too. Darth Nihilus did this with his maks. If anyone puts on the mask, he will return. But eventually, with a long, long time, they will be sent to wherever they're suppose to go. Just like the Jedi who live on past death, like Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Qui-Gon. They'll eventually be one with the force.
a very good video a Sith who we don't know his name only that HE WAS A Ghost, and he led a dark campaign. LIKE THE PART THE BLACK KNIGHTS WERE DEFEATED BY YODA
If Dave filoni touch the dark underlord he is going to make him lighthearted family friendly watered down censored pg cracking silly jokes and beat defeated in 5 episodes
Dave Filoni is very overrated and gets too much credit for what he does tbh. Any EU material he brings into canon, it's just watered down and whatnot. I would prefer he just leave things alone. He almost always retcons shit from the EU and already established canon that Disney made.
maybe the dark underlord is a reincarnation of vitiate´s spirit. Since after echoes of oblivion, there was still his presence in the galaxy there and in plagueis novel it is stated he survived until darth bane.
I like the theory of the Dark Underlord being a Sith Lord who revived himself through sheer force of will.
Man's said "Nah, I'm not ready to die yet. Maybe later"
That is such a Sith thing to do lol. It’s the paragon of the Dark Side philosophy.
He wouldn't be the only one to do it.
revan's dark half did that

Yep. Too angry and ambitious to die.

so similar to abeloth then?
You know shit is about to go serious when the mandolorians get involved
I'm telling you, that Dark Underlord let himself be killed, so he could possess the Jedi Master.
Was thinking that myself
So he was trying to do a Vitiate? Hmm.
They're fall was Yoda's rise and Yoda's fall was palp's rise, after every peak, there is always a fall. Star wars really does love cycles.
I love how the Jedi go to the mandalorians for some back up. Playing 3d chess against the sith that time.
Also love that the way the Jedi got the Mandalorians on their side for this war was to simply pay them.

Never thought I'd hear the words "Padawan Yoda".

He is definitely cool. But also "The Dark Underlord" reminds me of... "I AM THE UNDERMINER! BUT NOTHING IS BENEATH ME!"
Please make more video's on other unknown Sith Lords.
I can't believe I missed one. I never heard of the dark underlord before this video. Is this a comic character or a novel character?
The Dark Underlord: Now that I am a ghost how can the Jedi defeat me!?
Metag: Hold my Blue Milk.
lol.
Woooaaahhh. Wasn't expecting that ending
Nice LotC pic in the thumb and opening i miss that game
I guess there is sith ghosts now

So Yoda destroyed the last of the Black Knights? That’s hella cool
dam where does he learn this stuff
Are you dark side because they have beer and wine plus top shelf, or are you light side as you are disciplined. The choice is yours !
Lelouch is that you?
I think he was just shit with a light saber so he went with a Force Sword because its what he was used too
If only the dark under Lord was secretly Revan. Then again, at this point, Revan has basically become a god and no one can dispute that.
Evil never dies...
This was sweet 🎂

Nope the dark underlord existed 3000 years before vitiate was born
