The Catholic Church adopted these customs after the 9th century to distinguish themselves from Eastern Orthodoxy denomination of Christianity. It was out of order then and it it out of order now. Now Protestants are doing because they saw TD Jake’s wearing this stuff in 2002.

@user-ph9oj2ii7e Ephesians 4:11 doesn't nelify Ephesians 2:20. Notice in 2:20 apostles and prophets are mentioned, but none of the other parts of the five fold ministry: why? Because we're talking about the FOUNDATION. The Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher are not part of the foundation. 1 Cor 3:11 "for other foundations can no man lay".
