That stuff blowing around on the deck below could have been disastrous, there is a video showing an R44 landing and a small plastic bags blowing around take out the tail rotor just after it landed.
For the what its worth. I know the owner and have spent a fair amount of time on the Attessa - Dennis is a wonderful guy, no "attitude", a self made man who treats his crew with total respect. Kind of nice to know that he's a total gentleman.
Why is that owners never offer there yachts for charter at prices ... Middle class folks can afford . As in the Publication Boat International or was it on there fb page . A Female owner mentioned something like she wanted to see more families on board .. Yachts . That's all fine well what class of families is she hoping to attract .. only the minor minority that can afford to spend $500,000 and upwards PW .
@@colintraveller You have to consider how much something like this costs to simply operate. General rule of thumb for JUST maintenance is roughly 10% of initial cost. For this particular vessel, although Dennis will not confirm any dollar amount, it is estimated that the 10% is roughly $5mill annually. That doesnt even consider the estimated $200mill he spent refitting it. These arent made for the average family to enjoy. Not mine.....not yours. This is a result of him working from nearly nothing to what he is today. He did it the right way. And he does ALOT for charity and his employees. These people arent gonna take a loss on simple operational costs. That would be crazy. Like would i rent out a G Wagon for $200 a week? No. That doesnt even cover payment or insurance or even gas. And for what? There are much more affordable yachts that working class CAN afford. Maybe dont look at a rental price of a vessel that doent even fit in a football stadium.

Yeah remembered that day. I just flew in from Vegas then took my girl up to Oxnard so she could see her team the Cowboys practice. Wasn't too thrilled about it. Now if it was the NY Giants then that's another story.
the poor stewards on the decks below had a hard time hanging on to tablecloths and tableware... iffy landing ... had to reposition the helicopter.. but it's a good looking yacht!!
Crew should have cleared all loose items from the decks. If that cushion from a deck lower had gotten sucked up into the intake or tail rotor this would be a very different type of video.
I saw this baby parking outside of the Quay Market of North Vancouver, British Columbia, yesterday. What a scene! I thought it was over 50M, but 250M, Woh!

money well spent... if you have it, buy it. i was talking with a first responce team employee and i tole them they should contact Dennis to donate.. to my surprice they informed me he already donates to that group of people that are first responders to emergencies around the world. :) woulf like to see carlos slims mega yacht but he is too cheap to buy one looking forward this year to seing the gopro foundes mega yacht.. it should be finished this year :)
muito pequeno e muito pouco espaço para o piloto efetuar as manobras, uma vez lembrando que estamos falando de helicóptero.....Há um retardo nos comandos, o que deixa as manobras aí muito mais perigosas....
Can't take it with you. Owner of boat or helicopter are probably no where near these gas guzzling ego builders. Get the target mini copter and land it on your st. bernhard
Ahh.. poor dennis, 77years old, not much longer left aey? enjoy it while it last's, your of no special coincedence chief executive sohn is probably counting down the days.

Good pilot but that flapping cover on the deck below could have been a problem
Yeah remembered that day. I just flew in from Vegas then took my girl up to Oxnard so she could see her team the Cowboys practice. Wasn't too thrilled about it. Now if it was the NY Giants then that's another story.
