Man Finds Treasure This weekend I have been attending a Metal Detecting Rally in Kent and a huge hoard was discovered, watch this movie to see the contents. Literally unwrapping time.
Hi Will, I absolutely love your channel and what you're doing. I was introduced to your channel by Mike of TA Outdoors. I would love to see your audience grow as well. In light of that, might I suggest investing in some lapel microphones? It would help guys like me, who's had some hearing loss to understand everything that you, or those whom you interview, are saying. Keep up the great work. Best wishes!
Very interesting. Can't get into the mindset of people who thought, all those years ago, that this ought to go into the ground, as an "offering". The religious mindset, poisoning everything since pre-history.
It might've been "Bugger! I've heard about these Roman blokes on the move! I'd better hide this stuff sharpish! Ok, middle bronze age is a tad early but you don't know how old they were before they were buried.
Well im not archeologist but by the look of those axe/adze heads, i MIGHT say that they are all the same craftsmans work. Being that they were found in the same place, maybe it was the blacksmiths house 😮
That's really cool. I wander who was the last person to handle those, what their life was like, did they have children, a family. Lot's of memories of a happy or crappy life! Fascinating looking back into the past, Im also interested in Egyptian archaeology and the mysterious and controversy surrounding the precision cut blocks and stone etc. Is that something you're interested in at all, Will or ponder over from time to time? Still enjoying your videos, and the channel, good work 😊
Lenham is a gorgeous place still. There's one cottage by the A20 that when the rotation is right is surrounded on three sides by oil seed rape that has the most beautiful bright yellow flowers. I've always wanted to see the light in that cottage on a summer's morning! When I moved here in 2000 it was one of the first places that took my breath away. Still homesick for Torbay mind...
Beautiful axes, bronze age finds is so nice. I find one small bronze axe, so called flat axe. I made replica same style like Özis axe, and i suprise how good it work.
Fantastic to be able to use metal detectors. Over here its illegal to use metal detectors. You need to have allowance or be part of a scientific purpose to use it. So most of our past will remain in the ground.
That is amazing. We tend to find arrowheads and the like in fields in my hometown in the states. Nothing as awesome as these though. Congratulations 🎉. And thank you Mr. Lord. Always love your videos. Stay safe everyone 💜💜☮️
Dude... you have such an interestng life! And, you are always in the thick of it no matter where you go. What a great channel - always something interesting up your sleeve (deerskin)! Thanks for sharing your life and passions! NOTE: I would think of metalogical and spectrographic Survey would be in order... sourcing the copper/alloys would definitely answer a lot of questions as to the origins and age of this incredible find!
The guy in the grey shirt was giving you the stink eye the entire time that you were holding the bronze ax close to the end of this video. I would not trust him. Lol.
I think what was found are worn out tiller blades for working the soil. These would be pulled behind a tractor. I really have been enjoying your videos. Thanks John From Toronto
Couldn't agree more Will, stunning!!! wow!!!
Incredible find. Can not imagine how exciting it must have been for the person who found those. Thanks for sharing.
One ticket?! I would be all over that sword. Madness.
Ended up getting over 500 which was donated to cancer research
@@WillLordPrehistoricSurvival Nice one!
What a great find … whoever found it must have pissed their pants

When I see things like these I always wonder who owned that? Who made it? What were those people thinking about? What did they believe?
Yeah lots of conversations like that over the weekend
Wow. If you hadn't told us that, we couldn't POSSIBLY have known. Gee, Mister, you are so smart !.
