Kotor occurs 40 years after Exar Kun's defeat, and its the origin of the story of what happened between: the Mandalorian Wars and the fall of Revan and Malak, told as backstory in the game. The Kotor comic came out after kotor 2, and takes place during the backstory that the kotor games created -- the Mandalorian Wars. Kreia is the most fascinating character ever created in Star Wars. Kotor 2 plot is surprisingly predictable, BUT Kreia give a flavor so good that is hard to ignore.
Yeah, the "months away from finishing" thing was absolute bullshit. I watched a few of their dev streams on Twitch, partially out of curiosity, partially out of boredom. Even around when they received the C&D, they were still designing areas - and they fact they were putting in little bits of polish like minor environmental details and such, rather than making an actual combat system, quest/global variable tracking, or even *any kind of scripting*, coupled with the fact that they almost immediately announced their own original IP afterwards, suggests to me they never intended for Apeiron to be a thing. They just wanted attention and to gather something of a following as they went on to make a game of their own Which a number of people predicted from the get go

She did not judge them for their selflessness, she in fact saw it as being thinly veiled self indulgence. She didn't really judge them for their views on attachment from what I remember though, that was Jolee's philosophical fight. What Kreia disliked about charity and similar things, is that such actions are not really helping anyone. They serve no purpose other than to make yourself feel better. She believes you are not helping the person improve and you are not even using them in pursuit of a goal, so you have truly only made them weaker. Sith teachings taught Kreia that suffering encourages growth and gives people a reason to become stronger, so charity can take away a persons reason to improve. Sith teachings also taught her to not like weakness, she believes you be the strongest among strong people.
I think he was most likely mixing this up with Jolee Bindo who had similar issues with the Jedi's philosophies. Bindo himself has a long speech about how its possessiveness (what Anakin shows) that can lead to the dark side but that love and attachment to others actually falls inline with what the Jedi are supposed to believe, kind of similar to what Anakin says to Padme about unconditional love being "encouraged". Bindo does criticize the Jedi's views on attachments because, similar to their pursuit of selflessness, their beliefs caused more harm than good to those around them.
Aperion is why you should do the work in secret and reveal your project only after it has been completed to the holder of the license. At least then, you're bargaining with a completed project that the property/license holder can profit off of.

I don't know if my feedback matters, but my best advice would be to not actually curate the items according to 'rarity'. It makes the video flow kind of poorly. Think about it - this one opened with a (well known) spoiler. That's just a bad idea as a video maker, even if it is technically accurate to put it in that position in the list, it makes the video flow poorly. It can be hard as an audience to just absorb a sequence of separate facts - it's helpful when one fact leads to the next and creates the semblance of a narrative. You might want to try tiers of depth, so that you can spread the individual items around the script in a way where the script flows a little.
That's actually tremendous feedback. I really appreciate you taking the time to provide me with it as well. Some of my videos are completely original because I have no chart to follow. Others have charts I can follow that I can add to or modify. My D2 video was completely original because there was nothing available. Straight from passion and research. This one had a chart I followed, but I also took out the memes and added a few to replace them. I really understand where you're coming from and you're probably right as far as a story-telling perspective. I'm just struggling to imagine exactly how I'd go about doing that without dissolving what semblance my videos already have to 'iceberg'. On one of my first playthroughs of kotor 1, I remember getting the galaxy droid. I was wondering how I got it in that game file, and part of me wondered if that was a dream I had and the galaxy droid was not real. How 8 year old me figured this out is still unknown
50+ hours of gameplay on a save file or thereabouts was how I got it on almost all my games... Can even fastrack past the Rakatan homeworld to the Starforge as I recall, though now that I think about it landing there may have been required.
I personally see the mmo as an alternative timeline, because for me it makes no sense for the sith empire of that era be the way he is, it was supossed to be the true sith empire, more alien with pureblood and sith alchemy creations being their main military force, dark side powers so different from what we are used to, unnatural magic, with marasi being their front line, while dark sorceress conjure monstrous creations. But what that game have is basically the orginal era empire with more sith on it
It always intrigued me when people would create videos and pronounce t names completely wrong. It would be different if it were a book, or comic, but when the proper pronunciation can be heard in the movie or game it shows the creator isn’t a true fan. I always hated listening to videos from Eric Vass from What Culture because he claimed to be a Star Wars fan but pronounced things wrong literally in every video.
Imagine if game developers remade Kotor 1&2 on next generation consoles and announced to the world a Kotor 3 is in development the Star Wars fans would 🤯🤑

The Galaxy droid is not unique, there is a companion droid that also appears that allows you to redo and fast travel to any of the speeder/podraces, both droids from what I recall only appear after a total of 50+ hours on a save file on the Ebon Hawk, though I may have achieved other requirements as I filled my Xbox hardrive with save files trying to achieve/acquire/unlock everything in this game. I cannot say how the companion droid works or its name because I never liked the racing aspects, but it appears either next to the galaxy droid or near the speeder/work bench(I honestly cannot recall which one, but it doesn't appear in both places) It allows you to race in dead worlds like Taris just as the galaxy droid allows you to go there.
I always played a female and never once got the disciple, I always got the handmaiden. I wish I could have romanced her, honestly. She was a good character.
That bit about Atton never being intended to make it into the final game is enlightening. I guess I just always brought him with me but I now in retrospect realize he was never integral to the main story. Very odd. The only bit he’s solely involved in directly is hacking the comms system at the very beginning. That’s whack.
The main characters in KOTOR I and II are two separate people. Meetra Surik was a general who served UNDER Revan in the mandalorian wars when he led Jedi to victory against the Jedi Order's wishes. The wiki clearly discusses this, so for the rest of your content I would suggest more critical reading as well as keeping making conclusions and your own opinion/perspective as a separate idea to what is in legends (or what is canonically legends material). No hate it just hurts my ears hearing "we find out that darth revan is canonically known as meetra" (at this point in my comment, you've repeated it multiple times)

I always played a female and never once got the disciple, I always got the handmaiden. I wish I could have romanced her, honestly. She was a good character.
Unless you mod KOTOR 2 specifically for that, it doesn't happen. Male Exile gets Handmaiden, femExile gets Disciple.

Tales of the Jedi came in 1993. Kotor came in 2003. TSL came in 2004. Kotor comics came in 2006.

That bit about Atton never being intended to make it into the final game is enlightening. I guess I just always brought him with me but I now in retrospect realize he was never integral to the main story. Very odd. The only bit he’s solely involved in directly is hacking the comms system at the very beginning. That’s whack.

The main characters in KOTOR I and II are two separate people. Meetra Surik was a general who served UNDER Revan in the mandalorian wars when he led Jedi to victory against the Jedi Order's wishes. The wiki clearly discusses this, so for the rest of your content I would suggest more critical reading as well as keeping making conclusions and your own opinion/perspective as a separate idea to what is in legends (or what is canonically legends material). No hate it just hurts my ears hearing "we find out that darth revan is canonically known as meetra" (at this point in my comment, you've repeated it multiple times)
