In my opinion he should have taken the whole thing to the carwash to start with. Then he wouldn't have to do so much cleaning at home with a garden hose.

But instead we get the absurd fantasy that it was left in a hole, covered in mud, straw, and rust-colored paint, to include the plastics and aluminum. But the tires are in remarkably good shape once aired up, and nothing seems badly broken or missing, even the key is there! Take the time spent on faking it being garbage and cleaning the mud/straw off and spend it on a more detailed restoration (e.g. painting the entire tank).
