I followed your recipe and it was totally awesome!! I then saw a comment from you and then I tried something different. I used the same amount of chorizo and after I drained it with a paper towel I added some drained ground beef and I mixed it with the chorizo and that made a difference. I think I will always use your recipe from now on. It's great and I'm glad I found your channel. I only added cilantro as garnish on top with additional sliced fresh jalapeno.
Freita, this is your holy savior speaking! I have not been on youtube in while and I didn't even notice that you uploaded this. You went above and beyond the call with this one and they look damn good. Can't wait to try these bad boys out.
I want some! :-) I used to make them about once a month and now I can make them again because I can get to the grocery store or anywhere on Wednesdays Thursdays and Fridays! But I want yours now it made me smile the minute I saw what it was! :-)
I always come back to this video just to see your work of art and get my appetite going. I make my nachos similar but I use ground beef and colby jack and mozzarella cheese and other various combinations. I did use your recipe and it was different and delicious as hell. Love your stuff!! Hey can you show us how to make Emoladas? It's like an enchilada with cheese but with mole sauce etc. Thanks! : )
I agree with the avocado, and I made this, adding thinly sliced avocado after I was done baking. Also, I minced up a good bunch of garlic chives and added that to the tops of green onion, to give it that extra garlic kick. I kept it 100% chorizo, and I think you may be right, perhaps going half and half with ground beef or pork would be a little better. I'll have to give that a shot. Thanks for the good recipe!
Thank you so much for this recipe. When I made this, it was wonderful. I used ground beef instead of churrizo. I made my own homemade, fresh, and restaraunt quality tortilla chips. Thank you.
7:30 am when I am watching this and now I want nachos for breakfast. I use the paper towel trick too! Never had chorizo (sp?) sausage before, will have to see if I can find it here.
Damnit, Mike! this the richest, most devastatingly caloric recipe I think I've ever seen! Ohhh, man it's making me hungry and I just ate! You know, there is the old Texas recipe of Ro-Tel tomatoes melted with Velveeta. Ever tried that? It was all I knew as a child. Glad I grew up to see this!
I love your videos, your music, and your relaxing voice (my daughter says you sound like Garfield the cat.. :) we love your videos keep them coming!!!!
you need rotel tomatoes w/ chilis with the velveeta. We make a dip down here using those ingredients along with taco meat or spicy breakfast sausage. Really good!
Please come to my superbowl party and bring this along with as many other dishes from your channel as you can! :D The nachos look absolutely delicious, thanks for the recipe!
Yummy! I love watching other folks videos. Very different. I have my way of making mexican nachos the TexMex way as well as the mexican way and I always learn other methods from guys like you that just amaze me as well. You rock. I'm glad all us cooks have Yootoob to share our stuff. Well since you're adding your stuff I should introduce you to a menu called "The Chinese Burrito" You'll see it on my page soon. lol. Love your nachos.
Great Nachos Recipe! I bet they tasted like Heaven going in and burnt like Hell coming out. Now I want some darn nachos. I've been brain washed once more by your cooking.
Being in England as i am we don't eat a lot of mexican food and i have never seen this dish before but oh yes... i am going to have a try at this! I don't know if i can find the Velveena cheese but i'll find a substitute :-)
This looks so good! I usually add refried beans mixed with taco seasoning pkt. plus all the other goodies you added :) Could you please do a stuffed japaleno recipe, Thanks.
Oh lord that looked great. I used to make nachos like that, but didn't know about that sausage. I just used hamburger. I love velveeta, so it looked great to me!
Since you asked ("tell me what you would use"), I would use fresh salsa instead of the canned version and forget the Velvetta if you are already using regular cheese.
hey come on!!! no need to apologize man. they are good as they are, the cheese ans sauce are what make them so good!!! it's not like we are going to eat them every day all day. if someone one wants a healthier version just let them cut out some cheese and sauce when they make it. Great job
My version of Nachos is so ridiculously easy lol I just put a bunch of tortilla chips on a plate and top it with lots of cheese and salsa. Then I just put it in the microwave for a minute or two. Works just as well and is really good :)
I hate watching these kinds of videos at the night.. I'm way too tired to get up and make me some food. This doesn't exactly help me in ANY way.. :( It looks SOOO tasty!
This looks incredible! The only thing I would add would be some fresh chopped cilantro instead of the sour cream. For me, sour cream with cheese is overkill, otherwise this looks great.
@nefermaatra It can be a lunch, a dinner or snack. Depends on the porportion and the ingredients. Personally, I usually have nachos as an appetizer (only a small amount) or at a party as an horderve so hardly ever as a main course, but its all about preference.
Looks like the best nachos I've ever seen
I love ur channel I love tht u just make it detailed with ingenue dinars and just come out with an AMAZING RECIPE!
Right when my budget is low, I have to see this video to make me suffer and wait a week to buy the stuff to make these. You always rock!!
