  • I've fallen in love with these beautiful beaded crosses. In this demo I show you how to make earrings from start to finish, but the individual motifs would work equally well as pendants or all joined together to form a beaded cuff.
    Materials needed:
DiscDuos - White baby blue Lustre
3mm Pearls - Navy (You could use 3mm gems, 3mm fire polish, 3mm crystals)
8/0 Seed Beads - Miyuki / Toho - I used Miyuki Duracoat Galv. Silver
8/0 Seed Beads - Miyuki / Toho - I used Miyuki Matte Tr Grey AB
11/0 Seed Beads - Miyuki / Toho - I used Miyuki Duracoat Galv. Silver
    Fireline / Wildfire - I used 6lb Crystal
    Shepherd Hooks
    Beading Needle

Lovely design and yes agree; I not only enforced with 8# fire line through core beads once but 3 times then again since first 3 holes full, around others twice meow and it made piece play nice for me. My take is fill those bead holes up, I had go to 11 needle and filled up outside beads also. Thanks very pretty

Wow - sounds like you've made the design totally secure...no chance of your beadwork coming apart at all - a job well done!!! x
