I also like the verse-by-verse format of the NASB and also the fact that they denote new paragraphs By a bold verse #. Many bibles have copied the QUENTEL format but w similar quality. And lower price. Nelson premier has 36 gsm paper. Quentel 28 gsm I think.
Check out the premiere edition of The Nelson New King James Version in blue also but in blue goatskin which seems to be much more sturdy than some of the goat skins I seen from other places and it costs about half the price.
I am definitely leaning that way myself. I have the Compact NIV and the NASB Heritage Bible, both in blue Buffalo leather and the more I use them, the more I like them.
Why are most bibles printed in China? I have checked out Bible printed in China and there are English words missing while some words are wrongly spelled. Why don't Christians call for English bibles to be printed in English speaking Countries?
I seem to always buy a 10 font or greater ..Bible ..whenever I can accept in a Cambridge where a nine-point and even an eight-point is made readable by the way they do their bold and dark letters.
I also have an NIV large print in this cover. I prefer critical text to all others except for NKJV. I PREFER CBS. THEN ESV. THEN NASB. THEN NIV. THEN NKJV IN TEXTUS RECEPTUS.
I didn’t see much in the way of cross references and translation notes. Maybe I missed them. My Schuyler NASB has about an inch of notes at the bottom of many pages.
I haven't watched the video yet. But I'm going to go ahead and be honest about what I think about Buffalo leather. I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with it. I just question whether or not it's a good idea because Buffalo or an endangered species. God made us to be the rulers of the Earth. To be a ruler is not a privilege it's a responsibility and part of that responsibility is taking care of animals yes we use them to feed ourselves and feed each other but we also don't let them go extinct if we can help it
Although I haven't watched this video yet I think it's safe to say I've already formed an opinion about it. Or rather I formed an opinion about buffalo leather. I think that it's a mistake to use buffalo leather because buffalo are an endangered species. God appointed us to be the rulers of this earth as rulers were supposed to take care of the earth and that includes making sure animals don't go extinct if possible. I'm not going to look down or rebuke any believer for using buffalo leather. That's just my two cents about the matter
I have just discovered your channel and am enjoying the content. I recently bought a NASB 1995 Heritage Passaggio with the blue buffalo leather.
I now HAVE this and like it. Blue leather.
I never heard of Buffalo leather thank you for making it plain on what to look for in quality bibles.
Great review! I like Buffalo leather too.
Solid user at a good price. The cover will outlast the owner. Love the no references.
Any updates as to when and if the NASB 2020 is gonna be available in the blue buffalo leather?
Do you think they’ll do the same cover for the giant print Thinline?
This is a beautiful Bible. Blue leather.
I have this and very nice. Like Buffalo and in blue.

what's that brown bible you are comparing to?

Buffalo leather is what I prefer of all leathers.

Nice. I got my Bible from Paul’s Leather Company. I recommend!

Hi Tim! What kind of ESV genuine leather was that?
Think it was his large print thinline, he has a review on that.

@Voddie Baucham YOU ARE AN ABSOLUTE PHONY. PEOPLE, DON'T BE FOOLED BY THIS SCAM. SEEN IT SEVERAL PLACES. 🤮

Yes, these are very text-focused editions with no cross-references and the abridged suite of translator notes.
The Schuylers are magnificent
It does NOT look dark like Cambridge. For non Cambridge bibles I only NOW buy giant print except for the preacher's bible with blue highlites.
