I’ve been running my pressure cleaning business for a bit over a year now and been getting probably about 95% of my leads from facebook group posts. I highly recommend writing down a list of facebook groups near your area that you post in every 2-4 weeks or so. Don’t want to post in them too often because it becomes a bit spammy but yeah it’s definitely a good tool to get free leads and scale beyond just door knocking and word of mouth.
Great information thank you man! And yea posting in Facebook groups is on my agenda, so do you post In like neighborhood groups or city groups or what?
@@Jacobjordanpressurewashing just neighbourhoods ones mainly. get some nice photos, write a nice little message with something like “hey guys, have been servicing a few houses in and around *the neighbourhood of the group*, would be happy to arrange a free quote for anyone else interested in getting their home or driveways cleaned”… Something along those lines Hope this helps bro, good luck from Australia 🙂

This is the first video I've watched from you, so I don't know if you've seen other channels filming content and providing free washings because it's used as marketing. SB Pressure Washing (he also has a mowing channel), if you haven't seen the videos. He might give you some tips, seems like a nice guy.
15.3% for social security and my federal is 12% so I use 30% for all taxes. Youll be short if your saving for only ss tax. Driveway should be right as so long as I charge per retention lines squaring around $29 per sq. Good luck and keep up the work!
It varies on size but a pretty standard pool cage and patio for just the inside id charge around 350 but like i said it varies depending on some factors
@@Jacobjordanpressurewashing I got the invoice fly app, it needs a membership to send the invoice. Do you have the membership or how else do you use it?
I used it free for a bit and then now I just look up free templates on google and there’s some good ones but make sure not to accidentally sign up for the membership cause I did that for 3 months without realizing 😂
30% net but you’ll get a lot of that reduced down with a crap ton of write offs over the course of the year I imagine. Especially starting off you’ll be able to report such a small revenue profit that taxes after all your business expense write offs should even potentially be in the single digits % wise
I personally think being in my second month of business that these $1,000+ jobs are really big to me even if I took me 9 hours that day to do it, it’s worth it to me because I don’t have enough jobs coming in to where I’d make that if I didn’t get that job you know.
@@Jacobjordanpressurewashing the real problem with deep discounts, like $100+, is that the customer may view you as trying to put one over on them for charging let’s say $1200 and then offering to do it for $950 or so… first month in business and sounds like you’re on the right path at least

That driveway may be a 2 day job
It was a very large driveway lol but I managed to knock it all out even with my crappy little rig 😂
You need to put 30% of all money coming in for tax.
Yessir, I have a tax account I’ve been doing 15% though is it really that much?
@@JacobjordanpressurewashingI heard 15-30% just depends on how safe you want to be

15% of total gross is good. 15% of gross typically ends up being around 25-30% of net in this business.

Your pay is not profit. Don't include your pay. That's not how it's done.
What do you mean? I went over the gross revenue and my expenses on the day to work out my profit, what’s wrong with that?
