Considering they formed a band as kid sisters around 2013, and achieved their first moment of Internet fame in 2014, they are veteran writers, polished performers, and advanced recording artists! They their family, and a dedicated fan base built this band on passion, love, dedication, discipline, and hard work. Add those up and you get musical genius.

Rock has been a dying genre for some time now. These 3 sisters are saving Rock n Roll, thank goodness. They are incredibly talented and I am so excited to see them live on May 2nd. The Warning is a band of 3 sisters from Monterey, Mexico. Daniella (Dany) is 22, Paulina (Pau) is 20, and Alejandra (Ale´) will be 18 in Dec, 2022. You want to learn about The Warning straight from their own words- here you go: ruclips.net/video/s7iQG0ug4HI/видео.html
Their parents loved music and the kids saw many videos of rock concerts growing up. They started in music early when Dany and Pau were enrolled in music initiation class at ages 5 and 3 respectively. Ale´ was too young at that time but when she was old enough learned the same things. They took classical piano lessons and were quite good. When Dany was about 7 their dad bought them the video game Rock Band, and everything changed. They fell in love with rock music and performing (even though it was just a game). When Dany was 8 her dad asked her if she wanted to take up another instrument (along with piano). She chose the guitar. Later Pau chose the drums and Ale´ chose the bass. Ale had only been playing bass for about a month when they, as a group, started playing and recording songs.
They practiced hard and in 2014 when they were 14, 12, and 9 years old put out a RUclips video for their grandparents to see how they had progressed in their music. That video was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman, and it went viral. To date it has well over 23 million views and has gotten praise from such notable bands as Metallica and many others. The girls were completely caught off guard by this and had to make a decision. They quit school and began homeschooling so as to have more time to devote to their music. They practiced 2 hours a day separately and another 2 hours together every day- and they still do.
Their Enter Sandman video was also noticed by Ellen DeGeneres, and they made their US TV debut on The Ellen Show in 2015. The girls were trying to raise enough money to attend the 5-week classes at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Ellen found this out and she and Target presented each of the girls with a $10k check to attend those classes. Because Ale´ was only 10 years old she had to get a special exemption to attend but she got it.
Harmonix, the makers of the Rock Band video game, also noticed the girls and invited them to come to their facilities in Boston for a tour. While there they got to preview the soon-to-be-released Rock Band version IV and were completely caught off guard to see that their song Free Falling was in the game! They started the band because of the Rock Band video game so having their song in the game was amazing to them.
In 2015 they also released an EP called Escape the Mind. It was an exploratory group of eclectic songs designed to sort out their style.
In 2016 they were invited to participate in a Ted X talk at the University of Nevada where they told their story of how they got into music and started the band- they played 3 great songs (2 originals and a cover of The Foo Fighter’s Pretender). They were a hit and were invited back in 2017 where they talked about producing and launching their first complete LP called XXI Century Blood. They played 3 original songs from that album and wowed the crowd again.
In 2018 they released their 2nd album Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey thru unrequited love- from love, to infatuation, to obsession, to murder, to remorse. It is an amazing album, and every song is performed with great passion.
Their Mexican critics called them Cultural Traitors because they did not sing in Spanish and did not sing the traditional Spanish tunes. The Warning’s response was the song Narcissista. It debuted at the end of the 2019 Foro Didi concert in Mexico. The song says, “You say you pray for us, but we don’t see much praying”, and “you don’t know us”, and “you just talk to talk”, and basically tells those critics to Kiss Off! It was purposely written and sung in Spanish to make sure those critics understood every word, and the lyrics were put on the big screen behind them during the performance. You can understand why Pau sung it with so much passion!
The Warning was always an independent band and used such tools as Patreon and Kickstarter to fund their efforts. In 2020, after 7 months of negotiations to keep much of their independence, The Warning signed with Lava/Republic records for a 5-record deal. At the time they were 20, 18, and 15 years old.
Their first offering from the new record deal is the EP Mayday. It is a 6-song half album of amazing music.
Dany is a very accomplished guitar player and sings lead most of the time. Pau is a world-class drummer and sings backup and lead (lead about 20% of the time). Ale´ is an amazing bass player and sings backup and lead when necessary (a bit shy about singing lead). All 3 play keyboards as needed and can jump in to cover singing lead in any song when needed.

Metallica asked Alessia Cara to do a cover of Enter Sandman for their Blacklist album, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Black album. 53 artists were asked to take those iconic songs and do whatever they wanted with them. Alessia had no idea what to do but because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. They made it work and developed the song and recorded it in one week, using David Bendeth to mix and edit that song (David did the amazing work on their Mayday EP). they created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. Because of that you will see that Alessia appears as a projection on the wall in the video as she was not there. The Warning started Playing Music at a Very Young age, When Dany was 6 and Pau was 4 they started taking Classical Piano Lessons and Ale started at age 5, Then when when Dany was 8 and Pau 6 their Father Bought them the Video Game "Rock Band" and they would play all the Time but Ale didn't play at first because she was only 3, then Dany asked her father if she could take Guitar lessons and Pau started taking Drum Lessons and when Ale was 6 or 7 she started taking Bass Guitar Lessons then as they got older they decided to play together as a band and started playing covers of their Favorite songs and posting them on RUclips and in 2014 when they were 14, 12, and 9 years old they posted a video to RUclips of them playing a cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman, and that video went Viral, to date it has over 23 million Views and Everytime changed for them, they started writing and Recording their own Music.
I watched your previous journey with Angelina Jordan, think 3 Angelina’s. Even the youngest girl, Ale the bass player, got sponsorship by a bass manufacturer when she was 13. Nearly everyone else they sponsor are middle aged male rockers. They are just as good live, check out Narcisista live at Didi Foro.
Welcome to The Warning. I just discovered these amazing women a few months ago and quickly became a fan and patron. Every song they perform is incredible. The best thing is that they're truly incredible human beings and treat their fan base like family, and the fans reciprocate. Look forward to you doing more reactions of their music. There's a great documentary on their youtube sight that I would recommend as well.
One standout fact is that they write their own music from their instrumentals to the vocals. Additionally, while Dany is normally the lead singer all 3 are capable of singing lead though not on every song since Dany can reach some notes that Pau and Ale can't. As noted below, all 3 began with classical piano so they can all play keyboards if called for. Dany has said that their music can vary greatly even within the same album. Besides a few music videos there are lots of recordings of live shows and even a few where they played acoustic versions of their songs.

The have great covers of the best rock groups and amazing songs of their own. They do have some songs in Spanish, I'd have to look to remember which.
Those would be Martirio and Narcisista (Which is a response to Mexican critics for accusing them to be "malinchistas" (cultural traitors) for only sing in English , basically it's a poke in the eyes with attitude and energy, then Martirio is more like a less agressive and more soulful song

Thanks for reacting to my favorite song from them! These ladies can bring it and melt your face off! Only 17-21 years old and this is the level of songwriting and musicianship! Only up from here! They recently opened for the Foo Fighters and Sammy Hagar and are starting their tour- they have already started with their dates in Mexico and will tour US and Canadian starting next month. It's a story told through the songs of a woman who falls for a man and he doesn't know... she feels the pain and eventually stalks him, and when it doesn't go her way, she kills him as she descends into madness and ultimately ends her own life. It's a dark but beautiful rock album... all told in their second language. Worth a listen.

Dear friends, there are many great bands from all over the world that deserve attention. The Warning is an example of that, but there is another band, this time from Japan ... it's called Lovebites and don't be surprised by their looks. The girls in this team are fighting to restore the beauty of this world and the best of everything. Check it out for yourself, preferably live songs from Tokyo, each one is a masterpiece of classic metal (not something that is now played on radio and TV ..). I recommend the Epilog or The Edge of the World song (both ballads) at the beginning and then something powerful like Break the wall :) And one more thing, this band won the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards 2018.

Yes! That crazy young women behind the drums is Pauline the middle child in the family. And the main songwriter, spoke person,and I think that she is the real leader of the band. And I recommend a video about her “ Pau is backing a cake “ and you will laugh your ….. off. Other advice, “ the evolving the Warning “ and you gonna see their evolving from the start to today!

These 3 amazing sisters are all bilingual they can all speak perfect English but Spanish is their native tongue. They have two songs in Spanish if you would like to react to them. Narcisista is a response to the Mexican media who criticised them for only singing in English. It is a great song to say 🖕. We do what we wanna do. And Martirio is a classic rock song that I think you will love.
These 3 sisters are bad ass but at the same time the most humble and beautiful human beings ever. They take nothing for granted and love their fans like family.

I love Pau (Paulina) because she's a small dynamo who beats those drums like they owe her money.
I feel like you might appreciate Choke and Survive. Those are more alternative. Dust to Dust is also an amazing dark rock song where the drummer Paulina sings lead.

This ba'ds drummer is a prodigy. There's YT videos her playing drums in very young age. 6-7yrs old. And she crushes the song. So this youngblady will be something alright.

The Villarreal sisters are amazing songwriters and performers. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "Queen of the Murder Scene", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight for her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI Century Blood", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "Escape the Mind"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called Mayday. "Disciple" is my favorite track.
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history.
Amazing they are 22, 20 and 17 years old and have already written and arranged #44 original songs all by themselves! The oldest, Dany (Daniela) plays guitar, keyboards, lead vocals on 75% of their songs, backing harmonies. Pau (Paulina) plays drums, keyboards, lead vocals on 25% of their songs, backing harmonies. Ale` (Alejandra) plays bass, keyboards, backing harmonies.
The drummer Pau begins writing around 75% of their songs. In her songs, she starts with a concept, then works on chord progressions and basic song structure on piano while adding lyrics. She then brings it before her sisters and together they transpose each individual instrument's part; making changes along the way. They also complete the lyrics together; since Pau may only bring one verse and a chorus. All 3 must unanimously approve of each instrument's part and each vocal harmony before it becomes a completed song. Nothing is set in stone until it makes it through the gauntlet. Pau has said if not for her sisters, her songs would be different. Both Dany and Ale` write equally great songs; just not as many.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.

It was so fun watching you discover this hard rocking power trio. As others have mentioned they started their journey into fame with a cover of Enter Sandman by Metallica when they where all much younger. I didn't see anyone mention the second cover they did 7(?) years later of the same song (along with Canadian pop singer Alessia Cara) for Metallica's 30th anniversary special Blacklist album. They re-arranged, rehearsed and recorded the music video all in one week's time and it was placed as the first song of the multi-album release of covers by artists from all genres of music.
