I keep my lenovo legion plugged into the wall all the time and I don't turn the laptop off and it's always on performance mode. Yesterday i saw my electricity bill and it was over the roof. Can this laptop be the reason for that cuz I can't figure out why it the bill was so much..? Its the same model that was in this video.
Well, unless you're running highly intensive tasks on your laptop 24 hours a day, the power consumption shouldn't be that high. As you saw, the maximum power consumption was around 170W, which is less than an RTX 4070, I think. You can get a Wi-Fi electrical plug to keep track of the electricity consumed.

Thanks for the analysis, very clear and thorough.
My pleasure!
I use the balanced mode most of the time. It seems very efficient.
It's a smart choice.
Such a cool useful power meter device!
It is very nice.
