Hello Stefan, I have been looking at your videos and I've started to learn gliding in a ASK-21 in a local club in California. I've finished 25 flights. I hit my first thermals during the last 2 classes and I absolutely enjoyed them. Thanks for inspiring and introducing me to flying.

In this video I made a huge sound editing, so that you cant hear the really annoying sound of the bad canopy sealing
This definitely was entertaining but I pilot a learjet for a charter and I cruise at 250 knots and 160 km is equal to 86knots so not as fast as a jet but still fast for a glider. But seriously this was entertaining even to a jet pilot

It's not allowed at the top of the wing because the material gets warm and is not certified therefor

Hello, I'm your new audience. I'm wondering if this plane has a power system? Or can it only slide?:)
It is a pure glider, so it does not have any propulsion. I only have an aerotow at the start and then I use thermals (natural lifts) to gain energy 🤙🏼

How many glider you have and how much it cost
Question do you have a PPL? What license do you have? Do you want to fly other aircraft lile cessna's? I fly learjets now and just curious.
I have a SPL and at the moment I´m not interested in a PPL. Gliding is for me pure flying, making turns all the time and feel the motion of the air in the purest form.

You say gopto made weird things, but is it gopro or a DJI osmo?
I bought the new GoPro10, but this problem was annoying.

That vario sounds very ugly
It's just XCSoar generating the sound at the moment, because the vario is still a prototype ;)

The noise that is the most irritating is not the wind noise but that incredibly annoying VSI with its multi toned "tunes" which would be enough for me to punch a hole in the instrument. You have a VISUAL indicator (needle). You don't need this constant "music". Just LOOK at the variometer - you don't need that ugly noise which to my mind utterly ruins the aesthetic pleasure of flying.
