The table as our friend really brings it back to the old days! She comes in tomorrow, along with some "neon" led's from amazon. Can't wait to get started.

My last build was the Master A-10. It was spread out on many different videos. Mine turned out okay, but I didn't know how to line up the engine pieces and they are lop-sided. I prefer this approach!

Looks like yet another great design by FT. I hope you put up the plans for the Retro Rocket. It looks like a brilliantly thought-out design and build. And it looks like a lot of fun to build and fly and easy to transport. I really have to tip my hat to you all. The content keeps coming and it's awesome stuff. Thank you so much.

By building and flying this, I might have inadvertently started a competition at my flying club with these 🙃

Flite Test, you made the Retro Rocket, Retro Rocket XL, now we need a Mighty Mini Retro Rocket. I have a 50mm EDF that needs a plane!

Josh, I love watching you build. Your calming voice and clear instructions help me through stressful days! In addition, I have made almost all of the planes you showed me how to build! (Chris and Aiden in NY)

Awesome design Josh. The retro futuristic look is timeless. The FAA needs an enema for making this hobby more difficult to enjoy. Positively over kill, when they allow Boeing to make planes that fall apart in the sky.

    Josh,
Have you thought about having to change the servo on the thrust vector unit? Some how I lost my servo. Not sure what I did, I checked it before I put it in no issues. Then once I installed it, I added the extension lead and checked again! This time dead. I did something wrong! But when I went to remove it you can't get to the screw closest to the motor very easily! Almost impossible. The only way I can see is to cut loose the wing bracket. Do you have any idea's on what you think is possible of making the wing bracket removable? Just a thought!
    Thanks,
    Dennis

Always find it hilarious, Josh casually wiping off boiling hot glue with his thumb... For those of us who still have working nerves there: use the oval piece laying on the table.

Oh I know real burns... (shirt) heat pressed my own hand before. I've built a few, gotten hot glue on my hands and it hasn't left any lasting marks, but it still quite stings.

@@AlexSwavely got yourself with the clothes iron that's right on par with a steam engine burn

I think I got this one, working at a pipe mill, hit in the back with red hot pipe and it did leave a mark 😮

Yeah those hot glue burns definitely wake you up, as everyone is talking burns.... motorbikes that fall over on spilt diesel pinning you down with hot exhausts while still running tend to smart and leave marks too

@113:55, if I want to paint the canopy black, I should paint it before this step? The rest will be Silver.

You can definitely painted before you install it. The decal kit comes with a canopy and exhaust decal as well.
