I feel for the farmers & ranchers this summer and fall. Cattle prices are probably going to go way down while hay prices are going to go sky high. This drought has made life tougher than it already was for a lot of folks.
@tj 1911 that is quite the pompous attitude. Someone with a larger operation than your chihuahua has more obligations and expenses. We don't see their whole life lecturing their bottom line ledger. They don't show us, they don't owe that to us.
@@tj-kv6vr yes they need the money because they are the people who pay to raise your food that gets put on your plate and shoved in your mouth so that way you don’t die to the lack of protein and you can trust me on my word because I raise cattle, pigs, and market goats and I not here to get a thank you I just want that to run through you head so you have a common sense of where your food comes from.
Daniel, as a former animal trainer/keeper for over 25 years I thoroughly like your method of prompt and swift to the point discipline especially with little miss trouble Phoebe 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💪🏼👍🏼☺️.
I have to say, I laughed a littlle bit when Phoebe wrapped her legs around your leg DeJay, it was cute! You're her momma and she loves you ,(hope she gets better soon at not misbehaving) enjoyed seeing all the new herd. Pray y'all get some rain soon and can't wait to see, your new animal coming to the farm, soon. Oh and the new pond...can y'all give me a 24 hr. notice when you get new shirts in, and post online, I'll send you my email...LOL...I will wait patiently for more to come in stock, and hope to get my order in before they all are sold out...enjoy your weekend...Love Hugs Happiness and Prayers...💗😇🙏🏻
NOT CUTE!! I have been around horses my whole life (I am 52) and that is one of many things I will not tolerate (biting, rearing, and kicking) from any animal, horse, donkey, dog, goats, etc. When you go into the pen with her you need to take a lead rope with and when she rears up at you like that pop her across the chest with the end of the lead rope (not the end with the clip), it will not hurt her but will teach her that it will not be tolerated, a few times and she should stop doing that. Same with the biting, my horses that would nip, I would nip them back in the muzzle twice as hard as they nipped me, yes I would bite them back, showing I was the boss horse of the herd and not tolerate that behavior. If that did not work then I had a come to Jesus meeting with them. Had a thoroughbred that was bad about nipping and kicking both, when she nipped me the second time while on a lead rope (grooming - she was about 7 months old) I grabbed her face and bit her hard on the upper lip between the nostrils just a bit lower, she never nipped at anyone again. That TB filly was horribly neglected before I got her (she was shipped from Kentucky to SD - 6 months old, never wormed, no vaccinations, and 150 lbs underweight - long story on her, great great grand daughter of Secretariat and her sire was the Irish bred stallion The Deputy - www.pedigreequery.com/minnie+dor). Get those babies 100% halter broke asap, you will need it if they need any farrier work done (and they eventually will) or they will have to be sedated. Better to teach them to stand for having their legs messed with at a young age then the adults you already have.
We are also not looking forward to what hay prices will be this year we reduced our goat heard due to this, and won’t have cows over the winter we usually feed our goats small square balls but the cows obviously have big round bales.
I love the new donkeys. I have heard they are addicting... I do worry about the hay this year for the farmers. I will pray for rain and for a successful fall hay season.
Been praying for rain for all farmers & those in the drought. Those new additional minis are great - love them - so glad they have their new home with y’all. Keep us posted - looking forward to DeJays videos & yours on the pond. God Bless.
Congratulations on finding more donkeys. They all look like they are young and very healthy. Freedom has really become more friendly since she had Fallon. Donkeys make great protectors for the rest of your animals.
I'm in love, I'm in love, lol. Once things get going this could turn into a promising business :) . Loved the entire video Daniel, sorry for all you farmers and homesteaders have to face with the wild prices of things, I pray God creates a path so Dusty is able to get enough hay for his herds too. God bless y'all. ❤❤
Praying for rain for the Arms Farm and I’m a Sanctuary farm. Lester said the same thing. He bought 34 bales of hay he unsure if that enough to make it through the winter for 100 animals. I feel for you hobby farmers. I’m pray the Lord will provide all the feed you all need. Trust in the Lord.
Omg the new Jennys are so beautiful. Especially the baby. Love all the babies. So excited for you DeeJay. Boy I think Steve sure approved. Lol. Love your videos.
I was going through my little town yesterday and saw a huge load of round bails go through and it made me think of you when you were buying extra bale's to get you thru the winter. Pray all is going well for you in the summer months.
Hi to Arms Family Homestead and all others too. Funny animal loves you all so much, that's great. Ponds looks great out there. Hugs and Prayers God Bless You all😀😀😀
Thank you Daniel and DeJay for sharing your wonderful adventures with me. I love the mini donkeys. Stay safe in this heat. Sending hugs and blessings from China Spring Texas 🌼
Hi DeJay, I was just thinking of “F” names for your new Jennie’s. Florence (Flo) Francesca (Franny) and Felicity. Just a thought. Enjoy your new babies. Be blessed 🥰
I love the name Farrah! She's so sweet and pretty like Pheobe. It is so sweet of you all to help care for someone's little donkeys that can no longer care for them. Sorry they are a bit stand offish now. Hopefully they will come around soon. I pray that our crazy weather will bring an early Fall with much rain to help all the farmers stock up on the hay you all need so badly. Prayers for your brother with feeding his bison. I've been hearing so much about how people need to start getting ready for food shortages and going off grid...well some of us are too old or unhealthy to do that. God will provide! Blessings to you and yours Daniel and DeeJay.
I really loved your video today Daniel especially the mini donkeys and now that you and Dejay show them on both your channels we get a double dose of their cuteness ❤ Thank you so much😊
Just love watching your RUclips Videos just know that we will be praying for rain because I a lot of Farmers are going to need it especially with there livestock
My friend runs 400 head of cattle on her 10,000 acres near Hooker Okla. Grows all their own hay. I was AWESTRUCK & Dumbstruck at their airconditioned computer driven state of the art machines. I loved wandering thru actes of enormous bales.
I know the south has had less rain. Lester says the same thing! I wish I could send you some of our rain here in WI. I love audiobooks too! They are awesome!
I m seeing this on Sundays June 26th. I m in Minnesota.. we are in the same situation with dry ground. We got a light rain yesterday. Just enough to wet the top soil. I pray you..Dusty..Lester and all other farms get a good rain..⛈️🌦🌧
Congratulations DeeJay, I am so happy for you. I hope you enjoy these precious babies . Thank you for sharing your life with us all . Love you both and all your Sweet Donkeys , goats, cow , and ducks. Love your Channel.
LOVED this‼️-beautiful shots of the property‼️Love a ride-along with great music and masterful tractor work🚜💨. DeJay, those mini’s are so cute- it’s too much‼️❣️😁🤣 Daniel and DeJay- you’re sparkling🤩, great video‼️
Love all of the new donkeys miniatures love them, they're adorable. Can't wait to see the videos on Houston's pond that the pondscape guys built for him that's going to be awesome so excited to get to see that. Prayers that you get more hay off of the other property for Dusty to help Dusty out oh Lord have mercy on us it has been hell this year. Also prayers that Dusty's abel to do some haying over on the Ponderosa's property before he turns the bison out on to some of the back property hopefully he gets it cleaned up so that it can recover enough that he can hey it before he turns any bison out on it. Or he has an area over there that he's already got set so he can hey. God bless yall.
Hope you get some rain so you'll be able to get more hay. The new babies are so cute. Phoebe doesn't want to do without her bottle but she's gotta be weaned. Take care and stay safe out there. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
Oh my, I can t tell you how much I love those donkey babies. Someday ill tell you my own personal baby donkey story. Deejay, keep doing your best. God bless you , Dan and family.
DJ you have such a beautiful herd. You can start ground work with the babies like halter training them tying them up brushing their legs and feet so that they're easy to trim when needed and that will help with the the manners. Love both your guys's Channel
Watching the way Phoebe wrapped her legs around DeJay’s leg was just her claiming what she feels is her Momma. She is demanding attention she use to get when being bottle fed. She will have a hard time of letting go of the closeness. Bringing in a new baby will make it harder. Enjoy your herd. Love y’all ♥️❤️🥰♥️❤️
we must have got your share of rain my garden is behind because of so much rain. It just stopped week before last finally getting something done. But now having to water..
We just went through the wettest spring in decades. This is semi desert here and only sagebrush and tumbleweeds grow without irrigation. This spring, the hay farmers turned off the water for the first cutting and hay is cut and being baled next door as I write this. Last year there was a hay shortage though. The place I bought from on Puget Sound was shipping semi loads of hay to Montana last year.
I never paid much attention to donkeys before, mostly just seen them in western movies and as pack animals in documentaries. didn't realize what personalities they have until I seen Paw Paw bottle raise Ivan. They can be so affectionate. this little pack is so cute, looking forward to the up coming videos
Love you all with the little donkeys !!! Dejay, I am soooooooo happy for you !! You have your donkey farm now ! Feebie and Falin are so lovable ! I loved them with Daniel ! He looked so cute with them. Yes, Febbie still wants that bottle. Love you all !! Keep the videos coming ! Tell the kiddos hello for us !! ❤️🤗
Praise GOD, I received just a smidgeon under 3 inches last night and early this morning. Grass was looking tough, even though I think it was about a week ago we got almost 3 inches, but we got hot here in Minnesota, with humidity. Anything over 70's is not for me. 90 to 93 yuck. Unless you get some rain, it looks really dry and burning up. The donkeys are all adorable--okay, I am partial to babies too.
Love your videos. Once upon a time had miniature horses. Wonderful little critters. Was wondering if you are planning on breeding Steve with Phoebe and Farrah. And ask if he is to big if the girls are micro mini? I would also like to add that I am so sorry about Isaac and Rufus.
Hey Hey DJay & Daniel 🙋♀️🙋♀️ there all sweet girls. The new bottle baby is adorable just love her makings .. Phoebe still looks like a painted white heart on her hinden . . Steve looking a little excited 😆 I'm liking Copper 🐐 he's pretty cool .. looks like his horns are starting to turn like Isaac's did miss the old boy and Rufus too .. ❤️💔💔❤️🦋 Have a wonderful weekend stay Blessed, Stay safe , stay healthy Love from Tucson Arizona 💗🦎🌵🌻🦉👩🌾🌵🦎💗
So now we all Will pray for rain, without tremendous thunderstorms, and tornados! This has been so far a very hot, and unpredictable year regarding the heat levels! With that said...we will how our heads and for a multitude of peaceful rain...for all of us, near or far!😇🙏🙏🙏🙏
Daniel you make that spearing, stacking, look so easy, I know it is not. Scoop and go. Love DeJays mini donkeys. They really do love her so much. Phoebe will adjust to the no bottle situation with her new playmates. Looking great donkey family.
Sorry you all going through the drought we went through drought here in Australia and it s##ks I pray you all get the rain you need love from Kingston Queensland Australia
Central NY just had a heavy downpour. Wish we could send it your way. Corn is already, in most fields, over knee high. Hay first cutting done. Fields are green and lush. Texas is dry and barren. The drought is spotty in just a few places here. Saw a corn field yesterday, barely 6 inches up. Sad. Doubt they'll get a crop of that field.
Prayers for everyone who is struggling because of the drought.. Lake Meade is a prime example. Crazy question: Do you ever see of know of any deer eating off the hay bales?
I love all of DeJay’s mini donkeys. They are adorable❤️ I have been praying for rain. This drought is really tough on everyone, especially farmers and ranchers. You’ve gotta have grass and hay😳 Love all your videos🙏❤️
Yea DeJay congrats on your new girls and l hope that they’re prosperous. So happy for y’all and l just love them. Thanks Daniel for sharing! 👏👏👏👍👍👍🤩🤩🤩💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️
I have been specifically praying for rain for y’all (and Lester and Jason) for the special amount of rain y’all need. I hope He continues to answer my prayers. I believe He will. The girls seem not to care that each other are in the pasture… but, you also haven’t tried to feed them all together, have you? Just be careful guys. The babies parking their hineys at your leg or wherever, or rubbing on you like a big cat, is a sign that they love you. I wonder if Phoebe is trying to find that closeness by wrapping her legs around DeJay’s? Just a thought. Y’all do an excellent job with your family and animals. Prayers and Blessings always
I raised miniature horses for years they were so awesome, then I became disabled and had to sell mine I truly miss them but I'm excited to watch y'all with the mini donkeys,
I'm so sorry to hear about your hay. I was coming down through the Cove (near the Maryland and Pennsylvania line) got behind a trailer full of round bales. Got tickled when it turned down the back way to the farm where I grew up - I so wanted to follow it.
I just can’t get over how adorable your donkeys are! Those cute faces with those big bright eyes! Just love watching them! God bless y’all! ❤️
I feel for the farmers & ranchers this summer and fall. Cattle prices are probably going to go way down while hay prices are going to go sky high. This drought has made life tougher than it already was for a lot of folks.
Cattle and all livestock is going high on the east coast
they don't need the money
I fully expect all prices on all meat and poultry to go sky high!
@tj 1911 that is quite the pompous attitude. Someone with a larger operation than your chihuahua has more obligations and expenses. We don't see their whole life lecturing their bottom line ledger. They don't show us, they don't owe that to us.

That is such dangerous behavior. The side effects of bottle feeding.
I've never seen a little donkey do that before 😅
Praying for rain for you all.♥️

Your such a good Dad even to Donkeys! XOXOXO to AFH always making me smile .

Oh my, I can t tell you how much I love those donkey babies.
Someday ill tell you my own personal baby donkey story. Deejay, keep doing your best. God bless you , Dan and family.

I worked on a farm a billion years ago. The best memories. I learned how to drive everything from a bobcat to a combine. Great memories with friends
Aww I love all the baby donkeys!! DJay has done good and way to support her Daniel!!! Love this channel for not changing who you are!!!❣️❣️❣️
You could put different colored collers on the donkeys to tell them apart. I had to do that with my cats.
I just love to see DeeJay so happy with her donkey herd I think all of the babies are so adorable 🥰 much love to y’all 💗💜💗
Those are some pretty rolls. The grasses are so dry, it’s tough for grazing also. End times for sure, with the crazy weather.

Hello Laurie how are you doing
So now we all Will pray for rain, without tremendous thunderstorms, and tornados! This has been so far a very hot, and unpredictable year regarding the heat levels! With that said...we will how our heads and for a multitude of peaceful rain...for all of us, near or far!😇🙏🙏🙏🙏
how cute and sweet. Your right manners a must. Not your fault,. that's what they do. mom, mom, mom,. congratulations.
Daniel you make that spearing, stacking, look so easy, I know it is not. Scoop and go. Love DeJays mini donkeys. They really do love her so much. Phoebe will adjust to the no bottle situation with her new playmates. Looking great donkey family.
Dude a few hundred times and well you’ll become good at it specially during ice and rain .Lol!
Sorry you all going through the drought we went through drought here in Australia and it s##ks I pray you all get the rain you need love from Kingston Queensland Australia
Love the song you chose for background while your loading hay.
The rain and heat around here has been the same here in the Midwest, IL area as far as grass not growing. Its crazy....
You'd be welcome to my hay from my yard in Florida. It's our rainy season and the lightning here is horrific. The only problem is a lot of weeds. Lol.
OMG I am in love!!!! Can't wait to see what you name the 3 new Jennies!!! Congrats on your new herd!!!
Central NY just had a heavy downpour. Wish we could send it your way. Corn is already, in most fields, over knee high. Hay first cutting done. Fields are green and lush. Texas is dry and barren.
I downloaded the song awhile back. He hasn't used it in a while and I started grinning when he started playing it.
Yea DeJay congrats on your new girls and l hope that they’re prosperous. So happy for y’all and l just love them. Thanks Daniel for sharing! 👏👏👏👍👍👍🤩🤩🤩💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️
She said she’s mine! 😂💕
Thanks for putting a smile on my face; the mini's had me laughing out loud.
Love your new mini-donkey family 💗 looking forward to seeing the new babies when they arrive.
Farrah is Beautiful. I LOVE Phoebe and Fallon and now Farrah. I’d love to be your helper feeding your mini donkey poodles.
