Excellent. My friend has one of these cars and the exact same problem In addition it is also letting in water from that same left side. Gonna go check if this is the issue........
@@kalindambozi2356 If I find that the wires are indeed broken and I repair them will the car start or do I need to clear the DTC codes with an OBD for the car to start?

Hello bro nice video…I have a VW phaeton which has almost the same build up like Touareg just that the Phaeton is not an SUV but a sedan I am having exactly the same problem Where can I find that same cable on my VW phaeton? Thanks
If it has the same build up as the Touareg then check under the the carpet on the front left side. Also just do a full vehicle scan to see what codes to you will have then you can get back.

Ok, before you check under the mat on the front left side of the car, start by checking the fuses., the ones in engine compartment, the ones inside the car just to make sure all are ok. As you check fuses make sure you also see the contacts for the fuses to make sure they are not burnt. If all is ok proceed to remove the ma and you will find the cables in the video then you can follow through

The car starts even when the cables are cut. You will not only be able to shift from park to drive or reverse
Its the water that destroys the cables.

What if after soldering, wipers, indicator, power steering and parking assist don't work?
It means your car has a problem a different problem
