I've been following her since the Roland Garros finals the year she won her first title over Sofia Kanin. That year she was still underdog, and in the blink of an eye many successes were coming her way. But Iga has never changed. She is humility and respect for her opponent. I hope that as time goes on, many more achievements will reward her and make her another WTA legend.

(Jann is another young Polish genius who's a lovely, wise human being :) )

Rybakina fans are for me the most romantic ones, that she is the most beautiful and the best player in the world. After Rome, if Iga wins, the difference in the ranking will be approximately 6000 points. That’s the cruel difference and the fact. And let’s see their next match….I really already enjoy to see it.

It may just be me, but I always get the sense that Iga finds it hard to say nice things about other players.. Like she is gonna combust LOL
It’s your imagination. Besides this conference concerns Iga not other players. How many times she can answer about other players? She said enough at the conference including that Coco is developing her game more and more.
And what do you expect her to do? That she will continually compliment other players at conferences after winning matches? She can compliment others as she herself loses, and since she wins most of the matches there are not many such situations either.
Besides, Iga is a typical introvert and sensitive - from experience Iga knows that she needs to focus on herself and her routines, otherwise she loses concentration and nerves creep in. Iga is not an extrovert like Serena or Aryna, who like to be constantly in the center of attention, loud, boisterous and probably also more social, because it turns them on. Iga is a different type of person.
Americans in general find it difficult to understand such people, and already people outside of America who don't have a fake smile fixed constantly on their faces are an abstraction for them, and they perceive us Europeans as withdrawn and rude. And these are simply cultural differences.
It’s hard to read ppl - there’s body language, tone of voice and more. Iga’s English is good but not perfect so things can get lost in translation. But at least you can read yourself, so yeah - it’s just you LOL

Pełna zgoda. Olimpiada jest na kursie kolizyjnym ze sportami niestypendialnymi. Akurat tenis spóźnił się z wprowadzeniem zawodowstwa tylko 50 lat, podczas gdy MKOl. 70. Przez 20 lat stworzył własny cykl, w którym dodatkowy turniej bruździ. Piłka rozwiązała problem przebudzenia olimpików - dopuściła turniej młodzieżowy, tenis dał się nabrać.
