I went yesterday. Saw them holding in the holes at every creek mouth on my fish finder. Couldn't get them to bite my DieZel New Penny 4" paddle tail, or anything else I tried. Adam Carpenter told me on Low Country Fishing (Facebook) he was catching them on 1/4 gold spoons. I may have to try that. Did manage to boat 3 nice trout for a fish fry with my wife tomorrow, though

The redfish have been like that for the last 2 weeks for me. You can see throw everything at them and they just swim away

You need to make the transition to a salt water bait caster for the inshore stuff. Way more fun and a lot less work.

@@LowCountryFishing it took me a while to learn to control it, but I don’t like using a spinning reel anymore. I love the accuracy of the bait casters.
How does the striper taste compared to the Redfish?
I really like it. It’s a hearty texture, light on flavor and buttery from the fat.
I want to "catch" fish not spend 100k on a boat to go "fishing"
